So kind and gentle and snuggly plus.` `Friendly and welcoming, I love her slender little frame and more pointy nose.` `She`s so cute and a favorite of mine. She`s easy to walk and she kisses me a lot.` Just a few notes of endorsement on our prettiest of brindle girls PANSY! Pansy is super sweet, kind, very gentle in her ways and so easy going and mild mannered. She led a more challenging lifestyle and arrived very waiflike. She`s made herself at home and her chin is up, she`s adding some pounds to her frame and she`s ready for you! She`s a bit meek/overwhelmed (for now) in play groups but she`s definitely dog social. We feel she`ll rise to the occasion and get into the play group mode as we continue to include her in this enriching program. Here with her mom PETUNIA, she is the spitting image of her and truly, the apple has not fallen far from her momma as Petunia has the same incredible, gentle vibe as well. *Hound/Labby Mix*1 yr 7 mos old; 52lbs*Friendly, loving, most chill guy! Mr Manners. Mr Polite. Mr Peaceful. DARWIN is the nicest and sweetest doggy. Found abandoned on an island in the local lake, poor guy was very confused and very depleted when he finally made his way to our facility. He`s on the mend (mentally and physically) and now ready to meet you! We are all reaching for this handsome, sleek jacketed fella because he went through so much and already has so much to give us in return. Loose in our play yard area, Darwin will slowly stroll around and scope out things but you can always count on him to come back to you and just chill near you. Darwin doesn`t have much interest in toys but does enjoy soft, all over body pets and whispered sweet nothings in his adorably speckled ears! He`s done fine meeting dogs while out walking and seems pretty noncommittal as to his desiring their company or not. What we know for sure is that he will seek out the humans and truly makes us all smile. Check out our smooth operator Darwin and expect to adore this wonderful guy!!

Here with her daughter, Pansy.Check out her soulful eyes and that kindest of smiles and bet you can feel seeping through the page the bestest of doggies! We call her PETUNIA and she is honestly the sweetest and most kind lady, ever. Having led a more challenging life, she arrived a little thin, meek, scared and downtrodden but she`s made a 360 and what a joy it is to have her by your side. Our chill, very peaceful, middle aged lady slowly goes about her business and if you wait a wee bit, while seated in a chair, her adorable little chin will come to a comfortable rest right in your lap. Petunia (for now) is feeling a little overwhelmed in doggy play groups but we feel she`ll get into the play group mode as she settles into her new normal. She`s definitely dog social. Petunia is graced with a soft, gentle feel/aura, is very easy to walk/manage and she draws comfort in relaxing and simply being near her person. Never pushy or overbearing, Petunia is as lovely outside as she is inside. She is here with her daughter, Pansy (8mos old) who is nearly identical to her momma in looks and also personality. Meet Boone Boone is an absolutely stunning young dog. We rescued him from a high kill shelter. We think Boone is a Plott hound mix, possibly Tennesee Treeing Hound based on his overall looks and ears. He came in to us as an older puppy and sadly, he is still with us after over five years. Boone is almost 6 years old and is 57 lbs of muscle and heart. Since arriving Boone has been a gentleman dog. He’s really friendly. He’s energetic, but it’s not frenetic activity. Boone is polite and rather calm, especially considering how long he has been confined to a shelter. He walks great on a leash, and loves being out of his kennel to enjoy the companionship of his person. Boone will make for a great hiker. This breed is known for its stamina, endurance and agility. They can be all business and focused when working or engaged in training, but when at home they are mellow and enjoy the downtime. Boone is definitely a staff favorite and our hearts are broken that he has been with us so long. Boone is smart and alert. He will do best in an active home where he is physically and mentally occupied. He seems to like other dogs and but is not a fan of cats. Boone hopes to get his chance to go home, and he is going to make for a wonderful companion and will be loyal to his people. If you are looking for a fun, sweet and active boy, not to mention incredibly handsome, Boone may be the one for you. Her name is ziva and she is a very friendly happy dog. Her best friend is a Yorkie that she grew up with she's a year old just turned a year this past March. She loves to go for car rides and walks. I've taken her to Michigan she is a retreat road dog. She can play or sleep.. never seen a dog Her age sleep so much she loves her naps. Loves a good bone and a good trail. I want my baby to go to a good home. I am moving and she cannot come with me. She is great with other dogs. Big or small she loves to play anf is gentle with my other dog a Yorkie. Whoeever gets her will have a great companion. It breaks my heart I cannot keep her where I am moving I waited as long as I can and cannot find a place that will accept animals. If you want a cuddle bug and a walking partner and a passenger princess she is your girl. A great dog.. ziva is the goddess of love and fertility and she really is a big Ole baby..
