Welcome the "classic car" edition of the new litter of pups ready for their forever homes! These pups look like a work of art and will be as desired as your favorite 'oldie but goodie"!   The 8 pups (3 girls and 5 boys) have as unique 'looks' about them as the most popular classics!  They are 8 weeks old and weigh between 8-11lbs with 2 being slightly smaller.  Their Mom - Miss Daisy (as in driving Miss Daisy) is also available for adoption and her photo is attached for reference.  Foster home update: The pups are 'busy explorers', socialized, in a foster home with other adult dogs and a cat, and are doing well with peepad training!   We recommend training for all our dogs!     **Breed or size (once fully grown) is a 'best guess' and is not guaranteed since they arrived into rescue without either parent. **Magnificent Mutts is an all foster home based rescue and meets are held by appointment with the entire family in attendance. Please ensure your current pets are up to date with vetting, have landlord/HOA approval and are prepared to take your new family member home at the adoption appointment.  Thank you for your interest!                             If you are interested in adoption, please complete the "Application to Adopt" which can be accessed from this link: (     www.magnificentmutts.org )  No phone calls please, emails only. Story
**SILVER HAS BEEN ADOPTED!** Pal's Place would love to introduce you to an adorable group of seven precious and perfect pups! Our adoptable "S" litter (Silver, Sapphire, Stuart, Shelby, Stanley, Sable, and Shiloh) are mixed-breed puppies seeking loving forever homes. Their appearance and characteristics suggest a family tree consisting of multiple breeds, most likely belonging to the Hound and Herding groups of dogs. We suspect Catahoula Leopard Dog, Australian Shepherd, and/or Cattledog, Coonhound, German Shepherd, and other similar breeds can be found in their ancestry. These sweethearts are about 3.5 months old (as of 6/16), weigh between 20 and 25 pounds, and are ready and anxious for families! They were rescued from an overburdened animal control facility in rural Kentucky and are now in a loving foster home in Chicago, waiting to meet their forever families. Since these little squirts were rescued from an animal control facility, we have no information about their parents' breeds or backgrounds. Their listed breed mix and estimated adult sizes are educated and informed guesses. Both parents were most likely mixed breeds, and the puppies in this litter are likely a combination of several breeds. However, we can confidently say that they are 100% puppy perfection! These puppies are a bit large for their age, and we are estimating an adult size ranging from 70 to 90 pounds. Stuart (M) is the largest, weighing in at a whopping 25 pounds. Shelby (F) is the smallest at 20 pounds. There are three females and four males in the litter. They are all very friendly, social, curious, and happy puppies and will make first-rate companions! Given their breed type, we expect them to mature into energetic and intelligent dogs that will do best with active families who can provide outlets for their very high-energy levels and intelligence. Couch potatoes they are not, and they all love to stay busy busy!! They love people and other dogs and are eager and excited to get out into the world with their new families. Puppies are CUTE and lovable, but also require a lot of patience and work as they grow up and learn about the world around them. Remember that puppies this age need frequent potty breaks (every 2-3 hours or so) and lots of playtime, training, guidance, and supervision throughout the day for the next several months. Please consider if you truly have the time and energy to raise a very young, high-energy working breed puppy before applying. Their adoption fee to the rescue is $475 per puppy. This fee helps to cover their medical expenses while in our care. They are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up-to-date with age-appropriate vaccines, and are taking monthly flea/heartworm preventatives. This litter is in a foster home and can be seen by appointment only after an application has been received and approved. For more info or an application, please email palsplace1@hotmail.com or visit our website at palsplacerescue.org. Unfortunately, we cannot place holds on our dogs for more than three days after an application has been received and approved for a meeting. Please do not apply to adopt unless you are ready to welcome a dog into your home within three days of applying. ADOPTION APPLICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE FROM THE RESCUE MAY END UP IN YOUR SPAM OR JUNK FOLDER. If you are waiting for our reply, please check those folders regularly. • The adoption fee for these puppies is $475. This fee helps to cover any necessary medical care to prepare them for adoption. Pal's Place relies solely on adoption fees and donations to care for the animals in our rescue. Your donation also helps save other dogs like this family from euthanasia. • Please email Palsplace1@hotmail.com for an adoption application and put the dog's name in the subject line. Story
Wrangler is being fostered in PA. Wrangler has some limited vision. Haroo, my foster Mommy said I had to give an update on me. I am now 11 months old! She has been helping me deal with something called Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency. Man, thems big words. I will just call it what foster Mommy says, EPI. It means that that pancre-something thing inside me doesn’t give me enzymes so I can digest proteins. So foster Mommy puts enzymes in my food to help me with that. Also, Mr Vet Dr said because of this EPI thing, my B12 level in my blood is low, so foster Mommy gives me a shot every other week of B12. I am a good boy for those and don’t even feel them, as long as I hold still. Other than that, I am still learning various commands. I tell foster Mommy when I need to go out. I sleep all night with foster Mommy. I love playing with other dogs and cuddling with humans. I can sometimes get scared when I don’t know someone, but will warm up to them especially if they have treats. I am okay with older children. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.
