Loud voices and sudden noises tend to rattle me, but let me tell you, once I've warmed up to you, I'm a different dog entirely. I'll shower you with kisses and share my whole heart. You see, I'm not just pretty on the outside; I'm smart and gentle, too. What I need most is a patient family willing to give me the time and space to settle into my new home. Hello! I'm Taylor! You know that saying "Don't Mess with Texas? That's about littering! I came to the rescue with a litter of 8 healthy pups, raised them up and they are all adopted. Now, we are ALL spayed and neutered so we won't "litter" anymore!I am listed as a Plott Hound mix, though I must be one of those fancy TEACUP Plott Hounds as I am just under 35 lbs. I'm a lean, not so mean, fun machine! I'm definitely a girl that'll add spunk and spice to your life. Whether it be going on walks, fetching toys, or just jumping for joy, I'll be there to brighten your day and keep you busy. The rescue peeps should have named me TOY-ler because I LOOOOOVE toys! I can always be found bopping around the house with a toy in my mouth. Squeaky plushies, bouncy tennis balls, it's all grrrrreat. Yes, I give a grrrrr with my toys because I don't always like to share. Especially with a new toy, I want to play with them first! I have dogs in my foster home that don't care to fight me on this and other dogs who will correct me. I do ok with the correction and know my place in the pack. Speaking of places, let's go to oh so many, please! I love to ride in the car with the wind in my ears and I am great on a leash. Getting me out and about will help with getting my energy out but it may also help with my house training. I do well not going potty in my crate but will still need some help with not going in the house when I'm not being watched. A doggy door might even be good for me! I'm looking for an active and understanding family to help me be the best girl ever!! If you want an adventure buddy, please pick me!
