He is working on basic commands, crate and leash training.  He has not had an accident in the house or his crate so we feel he is housebroken. Barley has not met a person or dog he doesn’t like. Our $275 adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip. We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter. Got little guy from a shelter a few months ago. The shelter did not properly disclose the energy level of the poor dog [they said couch potato, but he is very much a puppy still], so he's been absolutely bored in my little apartment. I feel awful that he's in such a cramped location, because he's very smart, and very VERY friendly, but he's just visibly bored in my small apartment. Additionally, my work is adding extra time on the clock, which means he can get even less exercise. If he were in another location with a bigger yard and ideally another dog, I think he'd be doing a lot better. With the adoption for the dog, I'm just concerned with finding him a family that can help give him a better environment. I'll help provide the food, toys, and crate off the bat, I just need someone to help me get him to a better place than I can provide. I have a limited amount of time to find him a new home, so please let me know if you can help and spread the word! Thank you so much!
