Meet Nala, a brave, 2 yr old Plott-Hound mix, whose spirit shines brighter than anything she's endured. After being struck by her previous owner's car, Nala lost her front leg and her home...but never her heart. Now she runs and plays with a courage that will move you, and when she curls up beside you, all she wants is to feel safe. Nala bonds deeply and needs to be the only pet in the household. She's spayed, vaccinated, crate trained, and ready for someone to finally choose her. If you want a loyal companion whole loves with her whole heart, Nala is waiting -hoping-you'll be the one. Story
Meet Avery!Avery is a large American Staffordshire Terrier mix with a goofy, playful personality and energy to spare. This fun-loving pup is always ready for action and would be thrilled to have a buddy to play with all day long.Avery is great with other dogs and absolutely loves playtime. Avery especially loves playing with his Foster brother Zion! He is curious about cats and may chase them, but does not treat them like prey. Slow introductions are recommended when introducing to animals and humans. Because of Avery's size and energetic enthusiasm, a home with older kids is recommended.Smart and eager to learn, Avery already knows several commands including sit, paw, down, and around, and is currently working on stay/wait. Like many young, energetic dogs, Avery is also working on polite greetings, especially controlling jumping and mouthiness when meeting new people. The ideal home for Avery would include a fenced-in backyard and, ideally, another playful dog to be a built-in best friend. With continued training, structure, and plenty of playtime, Avery will thrive and be an incredibly loyal, fun companion. Avery is looking for an adopter that also understand that his playful mouthiness and jumping will take training and patience to help him control his puppy antics. To get more information about Avery, please send an email to his foster family to wcacfosterfam24@gmail.com with the subject "Interest in Avery 261730" Primary Color: Brindle- Brown Weight: 75 Age: 1yrs 9mths 3wks

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Oh, hey there! I’m Walton—certified good boy, professional toy enthusiast, and a true comeback kid. I was this close to taking the Big Sleep at the shelter, but some amazing humans gave me a second chance. And let me tell you—I’m making the most of it! First things first: I am house trained, handsome, and hilarious. I LOVE toys—squeaky, bouncy, chewy, you name it. If there’s a game of fetch or a good ol’ tug-of-war, I’m all in! Humans are my favorite—I just want to be around my people and soak up all the love they’ve got to give. I can get along with other dogs, but honestly? I’d rather be the king of my castle. And when it comes to food, I prefer to keep my dinner mine, thank you very much. My dream home? A quiet place with some awesome humans who want a loyal, loving, and slightly goofy sidekick. No tiny humans running around, please—I prefer a more relaxed vibe. If you’ve got a couch, some snacks, and space for a four-legged shadow, I’m ready to move in. Let’s do this!  The adoption fee is $400, which covers food, vetting, microchip and the spay/neuter surgery performed by a rescue-affiliated vet.  All dogs receive a wellness visit and are up to date on shots appropriate for age.  Breed and size is Pawfect Match Rescue's best guess and not guaranteed. Please go to https://www.pawfectmatch.org/animals/search? and search on the dog name to see more photos, browse the profile, and complete an application    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 4, 2026, 10:26 pm

Story
Do you think personal space is overrated? Do you get lonely while watching TV and need a cuddle buddy? Do you wish someone would follow you to the kitchen… the bathroom… the mailbox… just to make sure you’re okay?Have I got the girl for you! This sweet girl is looking for a new forever home after her beloved elderly owner took ill and passed away. She’s completely housebroken, has wonderful manners, comes when called, knows her commands, loves car rides, is wonderful with children, (especially when snacks are involved) and is so quiet you’ll forget she’s there… until you stand up. Then your shadow has a shadow!I joke that I’m going to rename her Velcro because she simply wants to be wherever you are. She’s calm, low-key, would make a wonderful apartment dog, or be equally happy in a home with a securely fenced yard. She’d likely be happiest as your only pet. She lost her person through no fault of her own and is ready to love another. She also LOVES to go for car rides!

Story
Meet Fresca, a bright, bouncy hound mix who loves being outdoors and would happily spend her day sunbathing, chewing on sticks, exploring the yard, or keeping an eye on the local squirrel population. Fresca enjoys playing with her foster dog friends, especially pups her size or larger who can keep up with her enthusiastic play style. She's still learning that smaller dogs may not appreciate her signature bounce, but her intentions are always friendly. When the fun is over, Fresca settles beautifully in her crate. She's been accident-free, sleeps quietly through the night, and is happy to entertain herself with a few favorite toys. She's doing well with her house manners, will often let you know when she needs to go outside, and comes when called. She's also working on learning "sit" and has shown that she's a smart girl who enjoys learning new things. Like many hounds, Fresca loves to follow her nose on walks. She's curious about everything around her and approaches life with an eager, optimistic attitude. While she may occasionally decide that household items belong to her, she's happy to give them up when asked and is working on learning what toys are hers. Fresca may not have spent much time living indoors before, but she's quickly discovered the joys of comfy dog beds and cozy couches—and she's a big fan of both! Despite being a hound, she's surprisingly quiet, typically only speaking up when she needs to go outside or when the other dogs convince her there's something worth barking about. Friendly, affectionate, and always ready for her next adventure, Fresca is the kind of dog who will make you smile every day. With a little continued training and plenty of opportunities to explore, this clever, lovable girl is sure to thrive in her forever home. *Sleepover feedback: " Fresca adores being outside and even in the heat she loved laying in the sun and taking long walks. She would be a great companion for anyone spending a significant amount of time outside. *Additional feedback: " She absolutely loves a bully stick and will happily spend hours chewing on one. She plays hard, naps even harder, and is happiest curled up on a comfy couch or bed snuggling with her people. She was also very quiet overall, although she takes squirrel patrol very seriously! She is incredibly gentle when taking treats, and her beautiful golden honey-colored eyes turned heads everywhere we went.
