Both of my dogs need re-home ASAP, due to personal & health issues beyond my control. Sophia is a 8 year old Pitt/ Lab mix. Boss Dog is a 6 year old Plott Hound. I'm praying that I can re home them. All of the rescues & no kill shelters have a year to a year and a half waiting list. So, if I can't re-home them I'll have to take them to the humane society (giving them a 50/50 chance between being adopted or euthenised.😔😢💔. If interested please IM me. Please share. PHILLIP is a stunning young mixed breed dog looking for a home. He's around 1 year old and appears to be fully grown at 42 pounds. Our best guess on breed is a Plott Hound/Beagle mix. He's trim and athletic and drop dead gorgeous, photos don't do him justice. This poor dog was trembling in fear in a rural shelter and needed someone to save him so we did. Phillip is all nose, he needs to sniff every single blade of grass in the yard. He's good natured but timid and will need some time to warm up. He's good with other dogs and needs a physically-fenced yard. If you'd like to meet Phillip, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Phillip at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 11:30am-1:30pm at PetSmart Eastgate. Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
