Story
Annette is another pup in our "Walk Like An Egyptian" Bangles litter!  Born 11/22/23, she is ready to find her forever home!  She is a Plott Hound Mix (possibly) and is our independent puppy!  She loves to play, come for some attention and then go back to playing!  She would do well in a home with or without other pups.  If you are interested in Annette, please visit our website at www.carerescueok.org! ##1939285##

Story
can't believe how much my life has changed.  Just a week ago, I was all by myself, hungry, scared and had so many little bugs (I think they are called ticks) on me that I really didn't feel good.  Then I saw this nice lady with some dogs that looked really lucky and I just had to take a chance.  I could tell that the lady felt bad for me and she took me back to the place the lucky dogs lived and gave me food and water and took all those bugs off that were hurting me. The next day I went to this place where I got something called a shot. The man there said I was about 5 months old and I was probably a plotthound mix whatever that is. The lady told the vet man that I was super chill for being a puppy and that I really like kids which I do!  After we got home, the nice lady was talking to the rescue lady and said that they couldn't have any more dogs but she wanted to find the very best forever family for me!  She will always be my savior but I do want a family of my own.  Some of the things I heard her say was that I was really good on the leash (I was trying hard!) and that I haven't had any accidents in the house (I was trying hard on that too!) I like the other dogs even if they don't like me.  They kind of like their own pack and I'm ok with that.  I just need to find my own pack!  If you think I might fit in with your pack, the rescue lady said you can fill out something at this place www.carerescueok.org!  I want to be a lucky dog too! One more thing...the nice lady gave me a special name.  She said the name Nimerah means "tigress" which my coat with stripes looks like!  Pretty cool! ##2046979##

Story
What’s worse then being abandoned and shun to the streets with your brother, having to not only fend for yourself, but fend for a litter of puppies and trying to keep them safe? Buster helped his sister keep her litter safe until we found them and brought them to safety. These two are a very bonded pair and we will only adopt them together, but what is better then one dog TWO of course. They just love to be loved on. They will need some basic training. Both are crate trained.

Story
Hey all, Ruthie here. I have been trying for such a long time to find my forever home. I really don't understand why I haven't. I think I'm around 3 yrs old so really a perfect age. My foster mom did this picture compare app on the computer and based on my picture, it said I'm some breed called a Entlebucher Mountain Dog! I don't know about that but it was kind of fun to see.  I'm already trained...ooh...let me tell you just how trained I am! I went to a place that had big walls and lots of people to meet and learned all kinds of commands. I think they called it Dick Conner Correctional Center and something called the STAR Inmate Training Program. I got so good that I didn't even need a leash with my trainer person, I just hung out with him all the time. It was so much fun! Even passed my test at the top of the class if I do say so myself! I was kind of sad when I left because I had so many friends there. My foster mom said that I am such a good girl that she doesn't understand why I haven't had tons of people wanting me. She said I am the most loyal, playful, people dog she has ever seen. That is true that I always want to be with my people, always! I love meeting new people and going places. According to my foster mom and the guys at the prison program, I have so many great qualities. The only thing that might be holding me back is that I need to be an only dog but let me explain why. I don't get angry with other dogs. I can go places and be around them. But I learned how to play super hard when I was young, maybe as a survival tool, and it's just too much for other dogs. I'm totally ok being with my people, in fact, I prefer it. I really would make someone a great companion dog. If you know of a person or family who might be my family, please tell them to go to my rescue's website and apply. Please? I want a home of my own....  www.carerescueok.org ##1550792##
