Story
Roughly 65 lbs Male, intact, almost 3 year old Plott hound mix. Extremely well house trained. He is smart, energetic, loving and likes to be with you all the time. Looking for indoor home with fenced yard only. He needs room to run and play. He's been walking in a harness since he was a puppy. He is a great jogging or hiking partner. Needs home without cats or small dogs. He gets along great with another big dog. He is utd except for the annual rabies.I truly was looking to spend the rest of our lives together but I unfortunately don't have the ideal living situation for him anymore since moving into the city. He's incredibly goofy and will be loyal forever. I'm praying I can find someone who gives him more than the great life we've had so far. We did almost everything together and I hope that you can too.

Story
Rajah is a beautiful 1-year-2-month-old Plott Hound with a gentle heart and a story that has made her a little shy at first but once she feels safe, her loving personality truly shines. Rajah had a rough start in life, so new people and environments can make her a bit nervous initially. She just needs a little patience and kindness while she learns she’s safe. Give her some time, and you’ll discover the real Rajah: a total snuggle bug who loves being close to her people and soaking up affection. One thing that helps Rajah feel confident is having dog friends around. She absolutely loves playing with other dogs and would likely thrive in a home with a friendly canine companion who can show her the ropes and help her build confidence. Because fast movements and lots of noise can still feel overwhelming, little kids can be a bit scary for her. Rajah would do best in a home with older children or an adults-only household where she can relax and continue to blossom. Rajah is the kind of dog who forms deep bonds with her people. Watching her go from shy observer to affectionate cuddle buddy is incredibly rewarding, and she’ll repay your patience with loyalty, love, and plenty of cozy snuggles. If you're looking for a sweet, sensitive pup who just needs a little understanding to become your most devoted companion, Rajah might be your girl. --- To apply to adopt, please follow the steps for adoption on HalfwayThereRescue.com/Adoption-Process and apply directly here: https://fs26.formsite.com/htrnp/a2k3lsooud/index.html

Story
Family friend found her when she was a very young puppy and we took her in over a year ago. She is very energetic and happy to see everyone. Not fixed but starting to understand house training. We are trying to find her a new home as we are pregnant and do not believe we’ll be able to give her enough attention with a baby on the way.

Story
I’m Crowley, a stunningly handsome Plott Hound mix eager to find my new home. What a journey I’ve had! I came to the Humane Society of York County as a stray and I’m a heartworm warrior, successfully completing my treatment and back to full health. I’m a medium-size guy, about 55 pounds, and my estimated birth date is October 2022.I’m a gorgeous brindle boy with crazy soft fur, and I’m wonderfully social. I’ve represented the HSYC in the community and have been a sweetheart meeting new people. I’m an excellent car rider and leash walker.I’ve also been a student at Zoom Room in Fort Mill, where I learned my basic skills like sit and down.I’m an affectionate, beautiful boy and would love to be on the go with my forever person or family. If you wish to meet me, please call the Humane Society of York County at (803)-802-0902 to schedule an appointment. Please refer to our website for adoption requirements: https://humanesocietyofyorkcounty.org/adopt/adoption-process.htmlThank you for your support.
