I got Tokyo in January of this year from the local shelter and she has been the most amazing addition to our family. She is a ball full of energy who loves to play and run around but also loves to snuggle at night. She is fully house trained but loves going outside or playing at the park with her friends. She has a goofy personality, loves people and other dogs. It breaks my heart to have to find her another home, but unfortunately due to the military I have to move and can’t take her with me but the last thing I want to do is have to bring her back to the shelter. I’m looking for a forever home for her with someone who can give her the love and attention that she deserves!

Penny came to us as a stray, but she didn’t stay a stranger for long. She quickly made friends of the staff and volunteers. This sweet, friendly girl loves getting pets, cuddling on the couch, and being close to her people. She also enjoys walks and seems like the perfect adventure buddy in the making! Penny is about 1 year old and around 35 lbs. She’s on the smaller side, has a medium-length coat, and a distinctive curly tail. While she looks a bit like a Plott Hound, her exact mix is a mystery. She will need some potty training, but Penny is eager to please and very treat-motivated. She has a gentle, submissive personality and does her best to be polite with both people and other dogs. We think she’d do great with kids and other dogs, but meet and greets are always recommended. With a little structure and basic training, Penny will make an incredible companion. She’s affectionate, playful, smart, and loyal… and ready to find her forever home!

We do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Dipsy, 1.5 years old, neutered male, black mouth cur and plot hound mix, 64lbs. Dipsy is in a foster home in Houston, Texas and can be transported out of state once an approved adopter is lined up! Dipsy is a tall, dark, handsome introvert with perfect natural eyeliner, soft soulful eyes, and fur so smooth you’ll want to pet him (please do—he loves a good brushing). He’s a mysterious-but-goofy boy who proudly digs through toy boxes like an archaeologist on a mission to select the perfect one and rolls in the grass like he’s checking into a luxury spa. Dipsy takes time to bond, but once he trusts you, he’ll wake you with gentle paw taps and his deep “Barry White” morning voice. He loves to play—sometimes a little too enthusiastically—so he appreciates help remembering to take cooldown breaks. He gets along great with dogs of all sizes, plays politely with cats when he’s bored, and does best with kids 10+ since he’s still working on toning down his excited “love pinches.” Dipsy is housebroken, crate trained, respectful around food and toys, fantastic in the car, but might steal a snack off the counter. He also loves sliding himself under your desk like a big furry foot warmer, “talks” when you come home like he’s giving you a full recap of his day, and once in a while stares dramatically into the distance as if he’s in an indie film. Rufus is almost 2 years old and was previously an outside dog raised with his brother Waylon He is a gorgeous full blooded Bloodhound that had 10 acres to run free, but the owners are moving to a place that was not going to even have a yard to play and run in so they were surrendered to our rescue! Upon initial exam, Rufus and Waylon both had pretty bad upper respiratory infections and it became very clear they needed Entripion surgery to correct it as it can be very painful if left untreated! This boy is high energy so a family with a fenced yard for him to run will be preferred or he would be a great hiking partner. This boy is very smart and really is just a love bug at heart. Meet sweet Journee!! Journee is a 7 month old Catahoula Leopard/ Beagle mix puppy who is just an angel! She got her name, because she has already been on quite a journey in her short little life! She was rescued by us from a disgustingly unlivable meth house that had no power or water and she was found in the most horrible conditions, emaciated, covered in feces and urine and eaten up with several different types of worms and parasites as well as covered in some of the biggest fleas we have ever seen! Since being with us, she has started to thrive and has gained her weight back,been treated for all of the parasites that were literally eating her alive and is now the most adorable and loving girl! She will be spayed 12/16/2025 and is already completely vetted and up to date on all vaccines!
