Waylon has been with Bonaparte's for just a short time and he was a pull because he had an undiagnosed medical issue that was causing weight loss and other GI issues. He has since been diagnosed with P erianal Fistula Disease along with some rectal polyps. This is a condition where basically the immune system is attacking his rectum and flare ups can be caused by severe allergies to food. Waylon has been on meds for several days now and continues to improve every day! This boy LOVES to eat so changing him to his new prescription diet food of Hills D/D Salmon & Potatoes has been very easy to do! This same food is also his treats but he seems to love it along with some canned of the same to give him something a little  different in his day, He will need to be on a special very regulated diet for life.  &#226&#128&#139Now on to his personality...and boy does he have it! Waylon is just THE SWEETEST boy and has had no problems at all settling in to his foster's home. He has been sleeping in a crate or a bed in the living room and is very happy in both places. He could probably be left out in a home when people leave but we have been trying to regulate his potting as we monitor that going through his healing. He is just sweet as can be and knows several cues already including sit, shake and we are working on off as he is a hugger! He is just full of such joy! &#226&#128&#139We will continue to update you more on Waylon but he will not be available for adoption until we can get him healed a bit more but he is going to make THE BEST BOY for a family!!!May 13, 2024, 7:41 pm

She's a cuddle bug and loves to sleep right next to you at night. When you come home, Tilly is so excited her wiggle butt makes her whole body shake side to side. She's crate trained, housebroken, plays well with other dogs, and great on walks. She knows sit, down, stay and her release word. Loves to carry a stuffed animal around with her, she will need a few as some will not last very long. Tilly loves to chew on empty water bottles she steals from her foster sister. She signals at the back door to let you know she needs to potty and will sunbathe outside when you let her. The quirky, she needs time to get to know you. She is nervous around new people. Meet Bronco! This sweet boy is ready for his forever home! Bronco is a sweet hound mix with an estimated birthhday of 1/09/2023. Bronco stands very tall, he is all legs! His gangly paws flop all over the place when he gets playful and happy. He may be in the large dog weight range, being roughly 65lbs, but he is slender and lean. He is very, very smart, he responds to his name, know "sit" "lay", and "paw". He is such a goofy boy, he can be a little shy of new people but give him a tasty snack and he opens up to be as silly as can be. He loves learning new things, and food is definitely the key to his heart. He is starting to take treats very gently, and although he gives it his best shot, if you toss a treat ot him it's more likely to land on his forehead than in his mouth.  Victor is excellent with other dogs, and kids, but has not recently been tested with cats. If you already have another dog, a meet and greet is required, but Bronco would be happy to have a four-legged brother or sister.  Victor is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered.
