Mash has done wonderfully with just about everyone he’s met—adults, kids, other dogs, and even cats. He truly has a “love everyone” kind of personality and brings a happy, easygoing energy wherever he goes. During a week-long sleepover, Mash proved just how well-mannered he can be. He handled loud environments with ease, didn’t chew or get into mischief, and rode nicely in the car like a pro. He’s also amazing on leash and enjoys getting out and about, whether it’s a walk around the neighborhood or a visit to the park where he can soak in all the sights and smells. While Mash absolutely loves being with his people, he’s also shown that he’s trustworthy when left on his own and not prone to destructive behavior based on what we’ve seen. He seems to take downtime in stride and settles in well, making him a great balance of affectionate companion and respectful housemate. At the end of the day, Mash is all about companionship—he thrives on attention, affection, and plenty of cuddle time with his people. Story
Meet Annie: the Social Butterfly in a Brindle Coat 🐾✨ At 5.5 years old and 55 pounds of pure huggable perfection, Annie is basically the hostess of every party she’s ever been to (and yes, she considers your living room a party). She’s a Plott Hound mix with a coat so stunning it deserves its own Instagram filter. Annie is a pro-level cuddler and firmly believes personal space is a myth invented by people who don’t know what they’re missing. She’s been thriving in her foster home, which is basically Grand Central Station, kids, guests, deliveries, you name it, and she’s loved every second of it. She’s polite on walks, excellent with people of all sizes, and will happily supervise your daily activities to ensure you’re doing them “right.” Whether your home is buzzing with life or you just want a gorgeous, snuggly sidekick, Annie’s ready to clock in. Adopt her and watch your “me time” become “we time”... forever. ❤️ Questions About this Animal? Please email hart90office@gmail.com View My Profile: https://new.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/HRT-A-239

Story
Introducing, Missy! Missy is 8 years old and 65 lbs. This sweet girl was surrendered to a rural animal shelter because her owners had too many dogs. We don't know what Missy's life was like before, but she definitely had many litters of puppies. Missy is currently living her best life in a wonderful foster home. She can be shy at first, but given a few days, her lovely personality will start to show. She has done well with other dogs (slow introductions are always suggested) and loves to run and play. Missy is housebroken, great in the car, and loves going on a long walk. Don't let Missy's age deter you...this girl acts like she's a young pup and has many good years left! Interested in learning more about Missy? Apply at www.novapetsalive.org/adopt *Missy spayed, up to date on vaccines, was given monthly preventatives, and is microchipped.

Story
Xena is a 3-year-old Plott Hound mix weighing 52 pounds. A delightful girl, she came to us from a family who didn’t want her or her ten puppy litter. How sad! But of course that’s where we came in. Xena’s foster says she is sweet, affectionate, playful, great with other dogs and very food motivated. (Better keep a box of bones around the house!) This girl who has been treated for heartworm would make a great addition to your family! 'You can read more about Xena's story here: https://www.crossingpathsanimalrescue.org/rescue-stories/mom-knows-best (posted 11/1/25, ME) ' ' Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **May 29, 2026, 3:19 pm

Story
Otis is a sweet, loyal boy who is looking for a new forever home through no fault of his own. He was adopted last year and deeply loved, but sadly returned to us after his owner passed away. Otis thrives when he has space to stretch his legs and enjoy the outdoors. He would do best in a home with a fenced yard or with adopters who can give him plenty of outside time and daily activity. He bonds strongly with his people and is happiest when he can be part of their routine. Because Otis has a prey drive, he is not a good fit for a home with small dogs or cats. With the right environment and guidance, he does wonderfully and has so much love to give. Otis is ready to start a new chapter with someone who can offer stability, patience, and room to roam. If you’re looking for a devoted companion and have the space to meet his needs, Otis may be your perfect match.
