Introducing, Missy! Missy is 8 years old and 65 lbs. This sweet girl was surrendered to a rural animal shelter because her owners had too many dogs. We don't know what Missy's life was like before, but she definitely had many litters of puppies. Missy is currently living her best life in a wonderful foster home. She can be shy at first, but given a few days, her lovely personality will start to show. She has done well with other dogs (slow introductions are always suggested) and loves to run and play. She has only lived in a kennel, instead of doing the hunting she would rather run in the woods and play, so she needs to be a pet. I adopted Duke with the intent of him sharing his forever home with us. At the time, I had a beautiful backyard that I was sure would be his forever playground. Due to some mismanagement of funds by my ex-husband with the mortgage Im forced to downsize back into a townhouse that will not have sufficient room for this beautiful/active little boy. He does well with other dogs but can be possessive with his person. He loves to run, jump, and play hide the treat(PlottHound Boxer Mix). He is very curious, a little stubborn, and can talk back.
