Story
We got Vinny in 2020 at the Wenatchee Humane Society. At that time he was 5. He warmed up to us pretty quickly and is very protective of us. 90% of the time he is good with people and other dogs. He loves to run and play in dog parks, although he can jump over a 5 ft high fence. He likes to chase cats, squirrels and bunnies. He is a "gentle giant" at home, but has a difficult time when strangers enter the house or in a confined space when passing people or other dogs that are bigger than him. He is very energetic and used to 4-5 walks/day. He loves tummy rubs and ear scratches. Adjectives to describe Vinny: aloof, curious, intuitive, stubborn at times, extremely lovable. His birthday is May 12 and he will be 10.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Introducing this BEAUTIFUL brindle boy, Gabe! He is a one-year-old, 58 LB plot hound/labrador retriever mix who is looking to be someone’s new adventure buddy! Gabe is a fun, bouncy, goofy, and active boy! He would love a forever home that can provide him with an active lifestyle and take him on many adventures such as hiking, running, mountain biking, and everything in between. He is also a good-sized dog and will require an adopter that is able to handle his strength. Gabe has done well with other dogs in our care and would love another dog in the home as a playmate. He would do best with another dog his size, as he is strong and rambunctious. He would also be more than happy being an only dog, soaking up all the love and attention! He is an incredibly smart boy and is very driven to learn and please his handler, so he will be quite fun to train! Gabe would do best in a standalone home with a yard and a secure fence. He will be such an awesome adventure dog for whoever adopts him! Gabe is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

Story
Meet Rocky, a handsome brindle boy with one mesmerizing blue eye and a heart as big as Texas! This lovable pup is as friendly as they come—he adores people of all ages and lives happily with kids in his foster home in New Braunfels, TX. Rocky is also a total social butterfly with other dogs and will play for hours, making him an ideal companion for a home with canine friends. He’s curious about cats and could peacefully coexist with a confident, dog-savvy feline. Rocky has an expressive personality, with pointy ears that twitch back and forth as he listens to you, as if he understands every word. He’s smart and knows commands like “come here,” “get in your box,” “sit,” and “shake.” He’s crate and house trained, making him an easy addition to your family. While he gets a little nervous in the car, he loves going on walks and, after a few excited pulls, settles into a lovely, relaxed stride—complete with a charming little saunter that makes him look like he’s grooving to his own beat. Squeaky toys are his absolute favorite, and he gives you the sweetest eye contact that feels like a warm hug. Rocky would thrive in an active home or with a family that includes kids or other playful pups. He's ready to bring joy, snuggles, and endless tail wags to his forever family. To apply directly for Rocky click the "Apply for Adoption" button. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-645 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org.
