Oliver gets along wonderfully with dogs and kids of all ages, though he’s not a fan of cats. He’s currently polishing his skills — working on sit, stay, kennel, and no jumping, along with crate training and housebreaking. This smart, eager-to-please boy just wants to make his humans proud! Oliver’s story began when he and his 10 siblings were found in a box by a mailbox at only 10 days old. Most of his littermates found homes right away, but somehow Oliver was overlooked — and he’s been patiently waiting ever since for the family that’s meant to be his. Oliver has been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and is heartworm negative. 💙 Meet William — a gentle soul with an incredible story! 🐾 William is a handsome 4-year-old Pointer mix with a heart as big as his will to keep going! This sweet boy came to A New Leash On Life with a significant back injury, and looking at his original X-rays, it’s truly amazing to see him walking and enjoying life today! William has made remarkable progress thanks to the love and dedication of his foster mom. And through it all, he’s remained the happiest, sweetest boy! William absolutely adores his humans, loves going for walks, and is wonderfully behaved. He’s also completely potty trained. What a gentleman! 💙 Because of his previous injury, William needs a low-impact lifestyle to keep his back safe and healthy. He enjoys the company of smaller dogs but needs a home without large, rambunctious canine companions who might accidentally injure him during rough play. Periodic therapeutic swimming sessions would also be beneficial to help maintain his muscle strength and mobility. William doesn’t need a life full of adventure to be happy. He’s perfectly content with leisurely strolls, cozy spots to relax, and plenty of love from his favorite people. William has already overcome some incredible odds. Meet Mary Ann and Ginger, an adorable bonded pair of medium-sized rescue dogs who are searching for their forever home. These super cute girls have spent their entire lives on their own until they were recently rescued. Despite their rough beginnings, Mary Ann and Ginger are incredibly sweet and are now learning to enjoy the comforts of a loving home. Both Mary Ann and Ginger get along wonderfully with other dogs, though they haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet. They need a patient adopter who will give them the time and space they need to adjust to their new surroundings and discover the joys of being cherished pets. Ginger, who bravely underwent heartworm treatment, is now healthy and heartworm negative. Both dogs are fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and on preventatives. They even tolerate baths and absolutely love being petted. Currently, Mary Ann and Ginger are being fostered in Seguin, TX, where they are receiving the care and love they deserve. If you have a kind heart and a gentle hand, these two sweethearts will surely reward you with endless affection and loyalty.
