Story
Keanu is one of the goofiest dogs we’ve ever taken in. He absolutely loves his toys and takes them with him on walks. We estimate him to be somewhere around 6 years old. We don’t know his exact breed mix, but he’s got the body of a terrier, the face of a great dane, and the coloring of a pointer! Keanu arrived here in California early January 2022 all the way from Florida. He was found by a good samaritan who picked him up while barely clinging to life on the side of the road. The rescuer believes he was discarded from no longer being able to be used as a bait dog (dog fighting). Once his rescuer was able to get him in a healthy state she sent him to our rescue for training. He is a very happy loving boy who is now looking for his forever home!July 22, 2024, 6:37 pm

Story
Marvin is a sweet and noble dog, 1.5 years old and 30 pounds. He was hanging around the shelter for a couple of weeks, he was given food, water and some love, but we decided to take him in when he arrived really injured and covered in blood, we think he was attacked by dogs. Fortunately in his medical checkup he didn't come out with many problems, and he is now healthy and ready for his new home! He knows how to coexist with other dogs, although he has his temper, he is usually very tolerant with effusive puppies. He likes to sleep in his giant bed, is crate-trained, house-trained and is sociable and friendly with new people. He knows how to ride in a car, and smiles when you scold him, he is adorable! We don't know exactly what breed he is, google lens finds a resemblance to an English Pointer and Andalusian ratter. The $350.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to San Diego, CA. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash. The adoption fee does not include transportation to North of San Diego
