She was being neglected and abused by a friends father. She wouldnt even come up to me. Soon after we took her in we realized she was just scared and was very energetic and happy puppy . She is 1 year or under, shes not much of a barker. In a new home all I hope is people who are dedicated and responsible, and people who are able to love and play with her the way she deserves. She is playful, protective, obedient, sweet, elegant at times.

Pegasus is an around two-year-old dog with a sweet, curious personality and striking blue eyes. He gets along well with other dogs and kids, and may also do fine with cats. He would enjoy an active home that matches his playful energy and includes him in daily life. He adapts easily to new environments and is generally happy and easygoing. Pegasus likes backyard playtime, neighborhood walks, and even tagging along to places like coffee shops or breweries. After a day of activity, he settles in nicely for cuddles and relaxation. He is smart, social, and affectionate—a good balance of fun-loving and companionable. Story
I have made the difficult decision to find a new home for my dog Stella, a Braque-Doodle (a mix of German Shorthaired Pointer and Standard Poodle). She is a 5-and-a-half-year-old female who is extremely nervous. Unfortunately, since our move, she has shown signs of aggression toward children in the home and toward neighboring dogs. She has never been able to be around other dogs, and now, for safety reasons, I do not recommend a home with children. Stella is house-trained, sleeps in her crate, enjoys going for walks, and loves playing fetch. I am hoping to find good people who can help her feel less stressed in a calmer environment better suited for her.

He is very sweet but very scared of sudden unknown noises like the sound of keys, steps and shadows. He knows his basic commands sit lay down and paw. Spanglish too. He loves cuddles and play time. Very nice with his spa days like bathe time, cleaning teeth, fur brushing, nail clips, and ear cleaning wash. Dresses up. Plays fetch and likes to play tug o war and even treat seek.

We picked up Otis from the shelter in August 2022. He’s been an amazing pet and loves our kids dearly. He loves all the pets and needs someone who can help make sure his ears are cleared up. He struggles with ear infections but even when he gets them, he’s a love bug. He’s approximately 10 but acts like a playful pup when he has a tennis ball. He loves fetch!

Kris came to FLUFF in early December from the Florida/Georgia line after spending her life as a stray. She and several other dogs were cared for by a kind Good Samaritan who made sure they had food, water, and what shelter he could provide. When he sadly passed away, a group of compassionate people stepped in to ensure these pups were safe and ultimately placed with rescues where they could have a chance at forever homes. Until coming to FLUFF, Kris had likely never been handled, and the comforts of a domesticated life are still new and sometimes scary for her. With time and patience in her foster home, she has begun to blossom. She absolutely adores her furry siblings, has discovered that soft couches and cozy beds are actually pretty wonderful, and is learning that sitting quietly near her humans can be a nice thing, too. Kris is still unsure about leashes and too much petting or affection, and that’s okay—she’s learning at her own pace. She will need a calm, patient home with another confident, friendly dog to help guide her and show her the ropes. Her ideal human understands that trust takes time and is happy to let Kris simply be part of the family from a distance at first, with no pressure or expectations. Kris may never be a fully “typical” dog—and that’s perfectly okay. Hi, my name is Kringle, and I came from a rough start, living outdoors on a property without ever knowing human touch. Everything changed for me in November when I arrived at FLUFF Animal Rescue. I was very scared and unsure, and while I allowed care for my basic needs. With time, patience, and kindness, I’ve started to come out of my shell. I now take treats from people, enjoy having calm, gentle company, and am beginning to accept slow, soft pets from those I trust. I also really enjoy spending time outside and playing. I’m still learning the basics—like leash walking and what it means to just be a dog—but I’m making steady progress. My ideal home is with someone who understands that I’m a work in progress. I’m not a cuddly dog right away, but I have so much potential. I need a patient, committed person who will give me the time, space, and guidance to continue building trust. A home that will support my journey with crate training, leash training, and confidence-building will help me continue to grow. I may take time, but I promise I’m worth it.
