Story
She was being neglected and abused by a friends father. She wouldnt even come up to me. Soon after we took her in we realized she was just scared and was very energetic and happy puppy . She is 1 year or under, shes not much of a barker. In a new home all I hope is people who are dedicated and responsible, and people who are able to love and play with her the way she deserves. She is playful, protective, obedient, sweet, elegant at times.

Story
Noah is a 2 1/2 year-old pitbull German shorthair pointer mix. He loves being outside sunbathing chasing lizards and loving his people. Noah can be destructive in the home and is very reactive with other dogs and recently just attacked another dog. He has lived his whole life with another boy dog in the home and he does well with him, but any stranger dogs he does not do well with he needs a lot of land, lots of love, and for somebody to be with him majority of the time. Noah loves engaging with people and is a big cuddle bug. Unfortunately, we do not have a lot of land to give Noah what he needs and he’s becoming too reactive for us to keep him. Noah can be reactive with food and resource guards. Noah will get excited about the same food that you give him every day twice a day and he will jump up and down for it Noah is very food motivated and we just about anything you give him when I’m chopping up lettuce he’ll even eat that. He enjoys ice cubes as well.

Story
Pegasus is an around two-year-old dog with a sweet, curious personality and striking blue eyes. He gets along well with other dogs and kids, and may also do fine with cats. He would enjoy an active home that matches his playful energy and includes him in daily life. He adapts easily to new environments and is generally happy and easygoing. Pegasus likes backyard playtime, neighborhood walks, and even tagging along to places like coffee shops or breweries. After a day of activity, he settles in nicely for cuddles and relaxation. He is smart, social, and affectionate—a good balance of fun-loving and companionable. Pegasus would do well with a family that stays active and wants a dog to join in on outings, whether that means playing fetch, exploring, or winding down together at the end of the day. For someone looking for a friendly, engaging dog who brings a lot of life and warmth, Pegasus has plenty to offer. He is ready for a home where he can be part of the adventures and the quiet moments alike. ##2076977##

PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Hi, I’m Cookie Butter 🍪🐾 I’m a 1-year-old Chihuahua–Terrier mix with a soft heart, a shy personality, and a quiet curiosity about the world around me 💛 I may not open up right away, but I am watching, learning, and slowly figuring things out at my own pace. I’m the kind of girl who wants to trust—you just have to give me a little time and patience to get there. Once I start feeling safe, you’ll begin to see the sweet, gentle soul underneath my nervousness 🥹 Right now, I’m more comfortable observing than being handled, and I’m still building confidence in new situations like leash walking and new environments. I do recognize pee pads and am doing well with that, but I still have a lot to learn as I continue my journey. I can be a little unsure around cats and new experiences, and I definitely feel more secure in calm, structured environments. I do best when I have other dogs around me—they help show me that everything is okay and give me confidence to come out of my shell. My ideal home would be: * A patient, loving family who understands shy dogs * A calm environment with routine and structure * A home with another friendly dog sibling to help guide me * People who are willing to let me progress at my own pace I’m not the kind of dog who rushes into trust—but I am the kind who learns to love deeply once I finally get there 💛 With time, patience, and kindness, I know I can blossom into a loyal, gentle companion. I just need someone willing to believe in me while I learn how to believe in them 🐾 Adoption FEE: $500 which includes her spay, microchip, and vaccines. Story
PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Hi, I’m Chulo 🤍🐾 I’m a 6-year-old Chihuahua with the sweetest, most loving personality you could ask for. I’m a total lap dog at heart—I love cuddling up close, soaking in affection, and just spending time with my person 💛 I’m playful and enjoy my walks, especially when there are lizards to chase or squirrels to watch 😄 But my favorite thing will always be being with you—belly rubs are my absolute favorite, and I’ll even give you a little “smile” to show you just how happy I am! I can be a bit shy and nervous at first, and I may take a little time to feel fully comfortable. I sometimes get a little anxious when left alone and might cry for a bit, but I just love my people so much and want to be near them. With patience and reassurance, I continue to grow more confident every day. I’m crate trained, potty trained, leash trained, and very well-behaved in the home. I’m still working on a few things like leash confidence and not barking at strangers, but I’m making progress and just need someone willing to guide me. My ideal home would be a smaller, loving household (1–3 people) where I can get lots of attention and affection. I’d do great in an apartment or a house, as long as I have a cozy place to cuddle and a person to love. A little note from my foster: Chulo is the biggest sweetheart. He loves cuddles more than anything and will happily soak up all the love you give him—he’s truly such a special little guy 🤍🐾💛 Adoption FEE: $450, which includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals. McNugget

Hound (Unknown Type) Pointer

Male, 1 yr 4 mos
Lutz, FL
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Needs special attention, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
McNugget is a loving one-year-old hound mix ready for his forever home. Found as a severely emaciated and sick stray, he’s now healthy, fully vetted, and eager to snuggle with his new best friend. He’s young, active, and curious, and would benefit from an experienced owner to continue training, help him learn and respect boundaries and provide structure. With proper introductions, he loves other dogs and would thrive with a friendly, energetic companion. He’s especially affectionate with kids and would make a wonderful family dog or a loyal work-from-home buddy. Oh and he’s also a big fan of water, give him a splash zone and he’s a happy boy. McNugget is house trained, crate trained, and non-destructive, but his classic hound howl makes apartment living less ideal. He has a big, joyful personality and a smile that will make you laugh. He does have some hip weakness that isn’t recommended to be addressed surgically at this time. While he can still play and run, he’s not suited for long hikes and may develop stiffness or early arthritis, so a family that is committed to monitoring his mobility and giving him the extra care he may need as he ages is a must. Also, a home with minimal stairs would be best! McNugget can be nervous in large social settings and prefers the comfort of his home and familiar people. This boy deserves a family who sees him for everything he is—and everything he’s overcome. Apply to adopt at https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/LUVR/dog All of our adoptable rescues have a clean bill of health (unless otherwise stated), are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriately), tested (FeLV/FIV for cats over 8 months of age, HW for dogs over 6 months of age), current on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped. This is all included in their adoption fee that goes in as a donation to help us cover their medical costs and continue to help other animals in need.
