Hi, I’m Cookie Butter 🍪🐾
I’m a 1-year-old Chihuahua–Terrier mix with a soft heart, a shy personality, and a quiet curiosity about the world around me 💛
I may not open up right away, but I am watching, learning, and slowly figuring things out at my own pace. I’m the kind of girl who wants to trust—you just have to give me a little time and patience to get there. Once I start feeling safe, you’ll begin to see the sweet, gentle soul underneath my nervousness 🥹
Right now, I’m more comfortable observing than being handled, and I’m still building confidence in new situations like leash walking and new environments. I do recognize pee pads and am doing well with that, but I still have a lot to learn as I continue my journey.
I can be a little unsure around cats and new experiences, and I definitely feel more secure in calm, structured environments. I do best when I have other dogs around me—they help show me that everything is okay and give me confidence to come out of my shell.
My ideal home would be:
* A patient, loving family who understands shy dogs
* A calm environment with routine and structure
* A home with another friendly dog sibling to help guide me
* People who are willing to let me progress at my own pace
I’m not the kind of dog who rushes into trust—but I am the kind who learns to love deeply once I finally get there 💛
With time, patience, and kindness, I know I can blossom into a loyal, gentle companion. I just need someone willing to believe in me while I learn how to believe in them 🐾
Adoption FEE: $500 which includes her spay, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals.

All Dogs / Puppies / Cats / Kittens are up to date on age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, flea/heart worm prevention, and are microchipped prior to adoption. If you are meeting a puppy or kitten that is not ready for adoption there may be a waiting period until they are fully ready to go home.
Adoption fee - Along with the individual animals vetting and daily care costs, the adoption fee helps Mercy Full Project cover additional vet bills, maintain their facility, and cover the cost of their operations in order to rescue more animals in need.
