Story
Hi there! I'm Sweetie, and just like my name, I'm as sweet as can be. I've got a playful spirit that's as contagious as my goofy sense of humor. I'm pretty smart too, I've learned so many tricks here and I'm eager to learn more. I've got energy to spare, and I'm always ready for a game of fetch or a good run. But don't let my playful side fool you, I'm also incredibly loyal. I'll stick by your side through thick and thin. I'm looking for an adopter who will appreciate my funny antics, my playful energy, and my loyal heart. If you're looking for a friend who will make you laugh, keep you active, and love you unconditionally, I'm your girl. Adopt me and let's start our adventure together!

Please call the shelter at (706) 795-2868 to schedule a meet and greet.Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter is a non-profit shelter serving over 720 square miles. We are open intake, meaning we can not turn away animals from either county we serve. Our shelter intakes double or triple it's capacity every month so it is essential we place animals quickly into adoptive homes. Since so many animals enter the shelter we often don't have enough volunteers to write an individual bio for each. Please feel free to call the shelter Wednesday-Sunday to inquire about the animal you are interested in. 706-795-2868.Viewing and adoption hours at our shelter are Wednesday through Sunday from 12 PM to 5 PM. All adoption fees include age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming, and spay or neuter, microchip, and adoption packet. Fees:Dogs over 6 months old: $100Puppies under 6 months: $200. Cats and Kittens are $75 ($65 without microchip). For your convenience you can fill out an adoption application for any of our current residents at www.moaspets.com. Join us on Facebook athttps://www.facebook.com/moaspets. It's a great way to stay up to the minute on the furry 4 legged friends we have looking for a loving forever home. We are located at:1888 Colbert Danielsville Rd Danielsville, GA 30633 706-795-2868NOTE: Our adoptions are first come first served, simply filling out an application does not mean the animal will be held for you, you must come meet the animal in person in order to be considered for adoption. If you rent you must bring your lease or a letter from your landlord stating you may adopt.

Story
Allegra is a beautiful & friendly Pointer/Dalmation mix who was born Sept 2020. She loves to be outside, loves her toys, and loves playing fetch! She is a very smart girl & needs an experienced owner. She has had professional training, has good leash manners, and is looking for a home with an active person/family & a fenced yard. She is very energetic and would be a great running companion! She is people friendly, likes kids, and loves to get attention. She could easily knock small children over so older kids would be better. She is dog friendly and gets along with the other dogs in her foster home, but an only dog home would be OK for her. She is housebroken, crate trained, spayed, fully vaccinated & microchipped.January 3, 2025, 6:28 pm

Story
Please contact ADOPTION (adopt@doggieharmony.org) for more information about this pet.Easy family dog Piston is a great dog. He loves to love on people of all ages and he really enjoys other dogs. His ideal home will have space for him to run or an adult who would take to parks to run. He’s very chill in the house. Fully potty trained and stays in a crate during the day. Sleeps all night long next to our bed and knows how to signal when he needs to be let out for a potty break. Piston is a great dog. He knows how to sit, lay and give paw. Piston's mom became ill and is no longer able to care for him.  We really want to find a home for this easy peasy pup.   Age: 2.5 years Weight: 45 lbs Temperament: Gets along with all people and dogs.  Training: Housetrained, crate-trained, obedience-trained Vetting: neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative Email for questions:     To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself. Please expect an adoption fee of $300; some of our urgent or long-term dogs have discounted fees.March 15, 2025, 7:09 pm
