Story
A foster-to-adopt option is available for me, giving us the chance to get to know each other before making it official! Willett is a gentle 13-year-old Hound/Pointer mix with a story that tugs at the heart. After spending years in a loving home, she was returned to Furkids when her owner tragically passed away. She's now been patiently waiting three years for a second chance at forever. Willett is the ultimate low-maintenance companion—independent, mellow, and fully housetrained. She enjoys peaceful moments sitting by the bench after and/or during her walks and isn’t shy about expressing herself with a few barks while she bird/dog watches. She thrives in a quiet, adult-only home where she can be your one and only. While incredibly sweet with her people, Willett prefers a low-traffic household without frequent visitors and no other pets. If you're looking for a loyal, peaceful friend to share your calm days and cozy nights, Willett may be the perfect match. Give this lovely senior girl the safe, loving home she deserves. Willett weighs 64lbs. and is approximately 13 years old (est. birth date 04/01/2013). Willett has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. Willett's adoption fee is $85. If you want more information about Willett, please submit a survey at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FKDS/Dog. At this time, meeting our dogs is by appointment only. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet. Must be at least 21 years of age to adopt.

Story
Dally Your Little Shadow with a Big Heart Dally is 4½ years old and as sweet as they come. She came into rescue as a devoted mama and raised nine beautiful puppies — all of whom have found loving homes. Now it’s finally her turn to be someone’s whole world. Dally lives in a foster home with big dogs, a little 10-lb pup, a cat, and kids — and she fits right in. She’s crate trained and 99% potty trained… she just prefers a little company for her potty breaks. If you don’t walk out with her, she’ll politely sit on the porch and wait for her favorite human to join her. She’s not dramatic — she just believes everything is better together. Dally is the ultimate companion. She’ll follow you from room to room and happily curl up beside you on the couch. She doesn’t ask for much — just love, reassurance, and a forever family to call her own. After raising nine babies, it’s Dally’s turn to be the baby. Apply for consideration to adopt at www.ruffdogrescue.org  Please note, we receive a large number of applications. We appreciate your patience as we complete our review processes. A personal interview, reference checks, meet and greet with pet, home visit and a solid vet history are required for adoption.  Ruff Dog Rescue—Turning RUFF Starts into New Beginnings. ##2508352##

Story
Meet Paisley! Paisley is a sweet, friendly puppy with a bright little personality and so much love to give. She, her brother Hodges, and their mom were rescued from a rural county in Georgia with no animal control, and now this precious girl is getting her chance at the safe, happy future she deserves. Because Paisley is still just a puppy, she is learning all the important basics and making great progress. She is working on crate training and potty training, and she is already doing well on leash. She is dog friendly, kid friendly, and has been a happy, social little girl as she settles into rescue life. Paisley would love a family who is ready to help her grow with patience, structure, consistency, and plenty of love. She has so much potential and will make a wonderful companion for someone ready to continue guiding her through puppyhood. If you’re looking for a sweet, lovable puppy to grow up alongside your family, Paisley may be your girl!

Story
Are you looking for a loving dog who would love to take naps on your lap? Emillia is looking for a family that is ready for the excitement of a puppy, but who is already past most of the puppy challenging stages. This sweetheart is crate and potty trained, has all her shot and is spayed and is working on leash training and recall. Her favorite things are playing fetch and tug of war, but she also likes being outside and watching the birds and squirrels. Emillia will need to be in a home with another playful dog to help her build some confidence. When first meeting Emillia she becomes shy and unsure, but she warms up quickly. The vet expects her to be between 50-60lbs, and this girl adores mealtime and treats. The best home for Emillia would be one with a fenced in yard as she blossoms in familiar surroundings. Emillia has done well with children and cats so she should fit in with most households. Emillia is happy to sleep in her crate, in a bed on the floor or in the bed with you at night. When crated she doesn’t make a peep and waits patiently for you to open the door so she can give you all her love. She is in the teething stage, but her love for antlers keeps her occupied. Emillia has a velvet muzzle and belly, unique spots and a brindle mask, making her visually gorgeous. Her foster family adores her and knows once adopted she brighten the life of her family. If you would like to learn more about Emillia please apply with Hero Dog Rescue. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Puppies - We do not adopt puppies under 16 weeks to out of state adopters. This is due to our spay/neuter policy, and all dogs must be spayed/neutered before leaving Georgia state lines. We do not adopt siblings to the same household. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption. Story
Hi, I'm Bat Man! I was born on 10/15/25 and am looking for my forever family! My mom is a German Short Haired Pointer and my dad is a Golden Retriever (both pure breed and small for their breeds). My human parents own both of them! I am a perfect blend of their personalities.I was apart of an "oops" litter of 8. My parents named me Bat Man because the white patch on my chest looks like the Bat Man symbol. I am very sweet and loving, extremely intelligent and a fast learner. I am an excellent listener, can follow simple commands and do well with puppy pads. I am affectionate and love back scratches. My favorite things to do are to play with my stuffed mallard duck and with my siblings, human and dog.My busy family of 5 has been successful in finding my other siblings homes just as recently as the past 2 weeks using Adopt a Pet! I'm excited and hopeful I will find mine soon! Please only inquire if you are serious about me becoming apart of your family. I can't wait to meet you!

Story
Meet Reba! This little lady is a playful, high-energy pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Reba originally came to us as part of a large litter, and she’s grown into a fun-loving, affectionate puppy who is always ready for her next adventure. She absolutely loves to play—especially with other dogs—but can be a bit rough during playtime, so she’ll need continued guidance to help her learn appropriate and gentle interactions. Like many puppies her age, Reba is still working on her manners. She is not yet housetrained and can be a bit mouthy when she gets excited, but she’s already showing her smarts by knowing basic commands like sit, stay, and lay down. With consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, she has so much potential to grow into a well-mannered and loyal companion. Reba would do best with an active family or adopter who is ready to match her energy, provide structure, and continue her training and socialization. In return, she’ll give you endless fun, love, and puppy kisses. The puppies have an est. birth date 11/29/2025. Reba has all been spayed, microchipped and given all age appropriate vaccines and preventions. The puppies all have an adoption fee of $315. Puppies require a lot of time and commitment. Please make sure your schedule can accommodate a puppy as they will be a member of your family for the next 10 to 15 years. If you want to know more about Reba, please complete a survey at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FKDS/Dog. At this time, meeting our dogs is by appointment only. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you within 72 hours to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet. Must be at least 21 years of age to adopt.
