Story
Dally Your Little Shadow with a Big Heart Dally is 4½ years old and as sweet as they come. She came into rescue as a devoted mama and raised nine beautiful puppies — all of whom have found loving homes. Now it’s finally her turn to be someone’s whole world. Dally lives in a foster home with big dogs, a little 10-lb pup, a cat, and kids — and she fits right in. She’s crate trained and 99% potty trained… she just prefers a little company for her potty breaks. If you don’t walk out with her, she’ll politely sit on the porch and wait for her favorite human to join her. She’s not dramatic — she just believes everything is better together. Dally is the ultimate companion. She’ll follow you from room to room and happily curl up beside you on the couch. She doesn’t ask for much — just love, reassurance, and a forever family to call her own. After raising nine babies, it’s Dally’s turn to be the baby. Story
HI, I'M ALLEGRA. I LOVE KIDS AND OTHER DOGS. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO MEET ME, PLEASE INQUIRE AT INFO@BARKVILLEDOGRESCUE.ORG OR APPLY AT WWW.BARKVILLEDOGRESCUE.ORG/APPLICATIONS. Meet Allegra - a gorgeous and affectionate Pointer/Dalmatian mix who is 5 years old and weights 70 lb . With her happy spirit and beautiful markings, Allegra is as stunning on the outside as she is loving on the inside. She's a playful, energetic girl who absolutely adores being outdoors, chasing after her toys, and especially playing fetch - it's one of her favorite games! Allegra is also very smart and eager to please. She has had professional training, walks well on a leash, and loves having a job to do. She would thrive with an active person or family who enjoys running, hiking, or other outdoor adventures. A fenced yard would be the perfect place for her to stretch her legs and play to her heart's content. This sweet girl is people-friendly and enjoys being around children, though her playful energy means she'd do best with older kids who won't get easily knocked over by her enthusiasm. Allegra is also dog-friendly and gets along well with the pups in her foster home, but she would be just as happy soaking up all the love as an only dog. At home, Allegra is the total package - she is housebroken, crate trained, spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. She is loving, attentive, and always ready to shower her people with affection. What Allegra wants most is a forever family who will appreciate her joyful energy, include her in their adventures, and give her the love she so deserves. If you're looking for a smart, fun, and devoted companion who will be by your side for every adventure (and every snuggle afterward), Allegra might just be the perfect girl for you! For more information about this wonderful girl, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org. If you would like to adopt Allegra, please submit an application for him at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from his foster home.May 19, 2026, 11:53 am

Story
Meet George — a handsome Lab/Hound/Pointer mix with soulful eyes and a heart of gold. Found November 2024, he's been in a loving foster home ever since. George thrives on daily exercise and ball chasing, then happily melts onto the couch right beside you. Affectionate and attentive but never overbearing — he loves his people deeply without being demanding about it. He lives peacefully with three indoor cats and has done wonderfully with female dogs. He would thrive as an only dog or with a calm female companion. Fully housebroken, neutered, and vaccinated. High prey drive — a securely fenced yard and leash for outdoor walks are an absolute must. Adoption requires a signed agreement to ensure he goes to the right home. We'd love an adopter willing to share updates on this special boy — knowing he is happy and loved means everything. Story
Are you looking for a loving dog who would love to take naps on your lap? Emillia is looking for a family that is ready for the excitement of a puppy, but who is already past most of the puppy challenging stages. This sweetheart is crate and potty trained, has all her shot and is spayed and is working on leash training and recall. Her favorite things are playing fetch and tug of war, but she also likes being outside and watching the birds and squirrels. Emillia will need to be in a home with another playful dog to help her build some confidence. When first meeting Emillia she becomes shy and unsure, but she warms up quickly. The vet expects her to be between 50-60lbs, and this girl adores mealtime and treats. The best home for Emillia would be one with a fenced in yard as she blossoms in familiar surroundings. Emillia has done well with children and cats so she should fit in with most households. Emillia is happy to sleep in her crate, in a bed on the floor or in the bed with you at night. When crated she doesn’t make a peep and waits patiently for you to open the door so she can give you all her love. She is in the teething stage, but her love for antlers keeps her occupied. Emillia has a velvet muzzle and belly, unique spots and a brindle mask, making her visually gorgeous. Her foster family adores her and knows once adopted she brighten the life of her family. If you would like to learn more about Emillia please apply with Hero Dog Rescue. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Puppies - We do not adopt puppies under 16 weeks to out of state adopters. This is due to our spay/neuter policy, and all dogs must be spayed/neutered before leaving Georgia state lines. We do not adopt siblings to the same household. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption. Inquiries - If you would like more information on any dogs in the rescue, please email us at info@herorescue.org.

Story
Meet Reba! This 5-month-old lady is a playful, high-energy pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Reba originally came to us as part of a large litter, and she’s grown into a fun-loving, affectionate puppy who is always ready for her next adventure. She absolutely loves to play—especially with other dogs—but can be a bit rough during playtime, so she’ll need continued guidance to help her learn appropriate and gentle interactions. Like many puppies her age, Reba is still working on her manners. She is not yet housetrained and can be a bit mouthy when she gets excited, but she’s already showing her smarts by knowing basic commands like sit, stay, and lay down. With consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, she has so much potential to grow into a well-mannered and loyal companion. Reba would do best with an active family or adopter who is ready to match her energy, provide structure, and continue her training and socialization. In return, she’ll give you endless fun, love, and puppy kisses. The puppies have an est. birth date 11/29/2025. Reba has all been spayed, microchipped and given all age appropriate vaccines and preventions. The puppies all have an adoption fee of $315. Puppies require a lot of time and commitment. Please make sure your schedule can accommodate a puppy as they will be a member of your family for the next 10 to 15 years. If you want to know more about Reba, please complete a survey at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FKDS/Dog. At this time, meeting our dogs is by appointment only. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you within 72 hours to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet. Must be at least 21 years of age to adopt.
