Earl is a country boy who keeps it cool inside the house and out. He has a great attitude and is always smiling. If you're looking for a dog to cuddle with, Earl's your guy. And if you're looking for a dog to just hang out with, Earl is also your guy - that's right, folks, he's flexible. Earl has lived with older kids before and was a perfect gentleman with them. He has been living with other dogs in the shelter and gets along just fine with them, so we think he would do great with a brother or sister dog - although he wouldn't mind your undivided attention either! He enjoys fetch and playing with rope toys, and loves to go for a run once in a while, but he's happy to relax on the couch with you too. His greatest talent is his sniffer - this boy has a great nose and loves to put it to use! Earl really is the do-it-all dog. Whatever you're looking for, he's sure to have it. Mugen came to me when he was about 2.5 years old, and Ive had him almost 5 years now. He was a former service dog when I rescued him with heartworm. After undergoing his treatment, he became my service dog for the next two years while I was recovering from a knee injury. Ive since healed and have given Mugen more room to just be a dog but his training and calm demeanor have never left him. This dog was made for service and adventure truly one of a kind. Together we have made 3 Cross country road trips stopping everywhere along the way. He's the ideal road trip companion, The back seat is like his den. Multiple week-long backpacking trips and countless overnight campouts he is best suited to someone who loves nature and has a passion for hiking and camping anything you can do on two feet and 4 paws in the great outdoors, GRANOLA ONLY he is very gun-shy. Anyone looking for a 30lb bed hog??!! Bonnie is 3ish years old. A beautiful pointer/terrier mix (best guess). She enjoys snuggles and cuddles and hanging out with the other dogs. Bonnie came to us after living her life outside with dozens of other dogs. She loves other dogs but was not socialized with people. She still takes a little time to warm up to new people. But once she knows you can be trusted, she is all snuggles. She is not crate trained, absolutely terrified of the crate but does well just hanging out in her "safe room" on the bed or couch. A safe room is just a non traditional crate, It's a spare room in the house she goes to when no one is home or when new people are over. Bonnie needs a special home: She will need a patient person/family that will give her time to trust. Bonnie would do best in a home with another playful dog that could take the lead and show her the ways of the home. She freezes on leash, and will not potty on leash, so she will need a home with a fenced in yard. Mostly she need love and lots of snuggles. Bonnie loves to curl up on the bed and take naps.
