Piper is a very sweet dog but has issues with our other Beagle. She can be aggressive with the other dog. She is very protective and can be aggressive with visitors at first but settles down quickly. We love her and it’s so hard thinking of reforming her but she hurt our little Beagle and my husband is adamant that we should try and find her a good home. We had a black lab before and they got along fine, it’s just the Beagle she has an issue with.

Cain is a doll.  He’s very sweet and loving and wants to please.  He follows his foster Mom everywhere.  He’s a young boy that loves everyone and loves to play with other dogs. He’s a little guy at 37 pounds. He doesn’t live with kids, but he is great with kids in the park and they go crazy over him and love on him.  He is non-reactive to cats. He sees cats and doesn't react at or show any interest but hasn't lived in the same house with them.  Cain is great in the car.  He sits in the back seat like a gentleman even when we stop for gas.  He is working on his housetraining and making progress.  He needs a regular pottie routine and a kind and patient person to help him complete his pottie training. Age: 1 year. We’ve had Cleatus for nine years, since he was a baby. He’s a good boy and is the smartest dog I’ve ever owned. He is full of energy and will be happiest with a yard to run in. We’ve recently had two babies and he would do better in a home without kids pulling on him. He hasn’t bitten but they don’t make him happy. Rehoming him is a tough choice for us but feel like it’s what is best for our family. Cleatus does also need to wear diapers as he has an incontinence problem.

You can adopt one of our great dogs, and spend the adoption fee on new toys, soft beds, and yummy treats instead! Now on to Tundra, formerly known as Naira at the shelter. Tundra is around 2 years old, and a compact 44 pounds. Kind of the perfect size, right? Tundra was turned into the shelter as a stray, having been found on the southwest side of Atlanta. No one came into claim her, so she became a CCM / Beyond The Bars dog instead! Young Tundra has the most beautiful mocha ticking in her white coat, and taupe colored speckled ears. We think she may be a Pointer / Pittie mix, but whatever the mix is, it sure is cute! Tundra loves to play, and can be seen in her run tossing the toy for herself! She is very interested in other dogs, and wants to play, but will need a tolerant dog to play with, as she doesn't always read when other dogs are done with the game before her! She's very smart, and loves to work - and is highly food motivated, which is a wonderful thing when training. This girl would be a great companion for someone who is interested in being active with their dog - hiking, maybe running, or some dog sports. She is an athletic girl who would probably be great at agility, or dock diving! And at the end of the day, and a full tummy, would make a great Netflix pal too. May 23, 2023, 11:27 am

She is dog friendly and gets along with the other dogs in her foster home, but an only dog home would be OK for her.
