LUCKILY, the fates (and some awesome rescue folks) aligned and saved me from certain death and brought me to a safe place where I can find a REAL family and a REAL home. Let me tell you about myself, I am cute, happy, loving, nervous at times, but have the long legs of a pointer! I have lots of energy for running, jumping and playing and I have the handsome chiseled jaw that most actors would love to have! Now if you need a great looking chap, look my way!!! This is Rocky. We believe that he is a 14-week-old Pointer mix. Rocky came to Judy's Forgotten Jewells on June 12th. He was brought to us by a Louisiana shelter in need of help. Since he has been in care, staff members say that he loves to play football (just watch his video)! We think he'd love an active family that likes going on walks, trips to the park or other adventures. His adoption fee is $500. The adoption fee includes their care, de-worming, microchip, spay, vaccines, fecal test, and preventatives up to the point of adoption. In addition to their adoption fee, there is a $150 Puppy Package fee that includes heartworm prevention and all vaccine boosters due up to 5 months of age when the boosters are done at Jewell Animal Hospital. ELM aka Colby loves to sleep in his bed on his blanket. He loves to run, play and get belly rubs. He loves chewing on Nyla bones or hard puppy toys. He knows and obeys several commands: Sit, Stay, No, No Bite, Go outside, Go to the back door, Come, Go potty outside. He was originally crate potty trained, now working on whole house (almost there). as of 7/21 he weighs 20.5 lbs. and is beautiful with a shiny coal black coat. He hate the extreme heat and doesn't want to go outside in it.
