Story
After spending a portion of my life living outdoors with much of it on my own, I am now realizingthat having been rescued by humans was not such a bad thing. Even though I do not have asmuch freedom as I did, I do have a roof over my head and food in my stomach. I did not know how to interact with cats and other dogs at first. Having learned that they do notseem to present any eminent danger, I do not mind their presence but have not quite figured outhow to interact with them. Sometimes they, as well as humans, move a little too quickly for mycomfort. For now, I may need a home without small children or a lot of high-energy activity.I truly believe that I have made a lot of progress in learning how to live within my new world butalso realize that there is still room for improvement. In an environment of patience andcontinued love and encouragement, I hope that in time I will become much more comfortableaccepting love and care from humans.I know that I will need some training in simple commands but I am really quite smart and havealready figured out daily routines like how to make it known when I need to go out to potty(house broken). I walk well on a leash and LOVE my daily jaunts. Even though I do not challenge confinement such asfences (no digging or jumping) and crates (actually I rather like the security of a crate at times), Ifind that I do sometimes yearn for the freedom of the great outdoors. If after learning all of this about me (and it's a lot!), you feel that you would be willing to openyour heart and your home to include me in your family I would love to continue my life journeylearning how to be a well-adjusted loving presence in your life.Hope to hear from you soon!Vixen is four years old and weighs 42 pounds.Location: Foster homeThe adoption fee for adult dogs, seven months and older, is $250. All pets are microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and will be altered prior to adoption. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org TwoSpot - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Hey y'all, it's TwoSpot here and I'm ready for some 'Changes'. A 'Happy Home' and family, a safe haven to call my very own. As 'LIfe Goes On' I know I'm gonna see 'Better Dayz' so 'Don't Stop the Music'... just let me dance along with you!!! I am around 5 months and very much a lively playful pup ready to explore...everywhere! I do great with people and the other foster pups here and of course playing with my siblings is the next best thing to milkbones. I would do fabulous with a playful 'sibling' or getting all the attention as your one and only! I come in at around 30lbs and will be a pawsome medium size of around 40-45lbs when I get myself fully growed up. What a great size for me to go on all our action packed adventures! Want to go on a stroll? Let me get my leash. Want to go hiking? Oh my, I'm for that! Want to go camping? Heck, I don't mind sleeping on the ground if you don't. Want to go to the park? You better hurry, I'm already in the car waiting!! I'm ready to give it a whirl with whatever you want to try out!!! With daily exercise and playtime in, I should do great in town with a yard, out in the country or anywhere in between. I'm like that last jigsaw piece, the piece that will complete the puzzle we call life! Are you missing a piece to the puzzle of your life? A sidekick, a BFF, a constant in your life to share all your going ons? I would love to be that piece that completes YOUR life!!

Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Remington “Remy” Anne is a pointer mix, almost 4, and has been spayed/neutered. She is up to date on all vaccinations and has been well taken care of. She is house-trained, knows basic commands, and loves to play fetch. She is successful with training in the home learning new commands. She craves to learn and be engaged with her humans. She knows what items are her toys. She has never been aggressive with food around people or tried to take any food from me or counters. She does well on solo walks or when she is with a familiar dog with her people. But gets anxious around unknown dogs. She needs to be in a solo dog home with no small animals or cats. She requires a home with a fenced in yard that is not chain linked. Looking active individual or family who will provide her with the attention she deserves. She’s best with older children because of her high energy. She’s super loving and loves to give kisses. She’s gives great snuggles. A quick learner and highly food motivated.
