From Alone-at-the-Dollar General to Family Member – Meet Lyle! Found in the parking lot of a busy local retail center, Lyle comes to us as a stray after his finder determined he was all alone. Concerned for his safety, she brought him to us to help reunite him with his family, but with no chip, no ID tag and no one coming to claim him, that sadly didn’t happen. Now, this adorable pointer is looking for a new and forever family, who will never let him wander alone again! Since he has been with us, he met a similar sized spayed female and did great! Although he seemed more interested in sniffing and going potty, he was very polite to his new friend and didn’t totally ignore her! Every little bit, they would have a nose-to-nose sniffaroo session and did great! We always recommend meet and greets with other dogs and children before adoption to ensure a great fit for all! We have no information how he does with cats and have no way to test for such. Please come and meet this sweet boy in person to see if he was meant to be your shopping buddy for life! We are a first come, first served and in person adoption center with no ability to hold an animal for a potential adopter. Make sure forever is a promise you can keep BEFORE you adopt! And remember the 3-3-3 Rule when adopting a shelter pet! 3 days for your new pet to decompress3 weeks for your new family member to settle in3 months for them to build trustWe are located at 430 Bristol Drive, Statesville, NC and are open Monday-Friday 12-5pm and Saturdays 11am-2pm. Lyle’s adoption fee is $40 through end of day October 10, 2026!All of our adoptable dogs/puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and UTD on all age-appropriate vaccines/preventatives. Adopters will need to establish vet care upon adopting to maintain their new family member’s health and wellness. Please bring a collar and leash OR purchase a combo from us for only $15 to safely take your new family member home. We are located at 430 Bristol Drive in Statesville, NC. He is full of life and love. He is a super busy guy who will need lots of exercise and structure. Chevy is eager to please and has a very gentle mouth when taking treats and playing fetch. He is super smart and learns very fast. He really needs a home with a fenced in yard so he has plenty of room to run, play and burn off some energy and a family committed to working with him on training to provide the mental exercise he needs. Meet Wren! This sweet girl is about 8 months old and 20 lbs, making her the perfect little size. Wren is a total lovebug who loves giving hugs, cuddling on the couch, and being close to her people. She also loves playing with other dogs, and one of her favorite things is getting her foster siblings to chase her around! Wren does great out and about and regularly gets compliments at events about what a good, well-behaved girl she is. She has such a sweet, gentle way about her that makes her easy to fall in love with. She’s food motivated, has done great with potty training, and even knows how to use a doggy door! Wren isn’t a big fan of the crate (it takes her a bit to settle) and would be happiest with a family who is home more often than they’re away. She really just wants to be wherever her people are. Wren truly is one of those special little dogs who just wants to love and be loved. She’s an all-around good girl and is ready to find a family who will love her as much as she’ll love them.
