(DOB 01/20/2021) Mia is a low-maintenance pup and is always up for a snuggle session. With her gentle nature and affectionate personality, she's the perfect companion for anyone seeking a furry friend to share their love and affection with. Mia's heart is as big as her adorable paws, making her the ultimate snuggle buddy. Don't miss out on the chance to bring this sweet and easy-going girl into your life! Mia will do well with furry siblings or an owner that can provide enough attention so she could also be an only dog. She is also good with children but is startled by quick/sudden movements. So older, more experienced dog-kiddos are best suited for her. She is a little shy at first but warms up quickly. Other than that, she really loves everyone she meets. She is already both house and crate trained and is well behaved in her crate. She enjoys going out for walks and is leash trained. She is learning new things like car rides and is a little nervous at first but settles in nicely on the drive.  Mia has the silkiest ears with the cutest little freckles on them. She has a smile that will warm your heart and radiate throughout the day. She is at a great age and is a wonderful mid-size. Plus, she can do that super cute brow furrow that wrinkles up and is so adoarble. She really checks off so many boxes and will add so much love to you and your family!! Ivy was adopted in August 2023 at the Watauga Humane shelterin Boone, NC. She was estimated to be about 8 weeks old when adopted and is some kind of hound/pointer mix. She is a wonderful dog who loves to play and cuddle. She loves going to the dog park and going on long walks and runs. She loves the outdoors and loves to swim and play fetch. She knows commands like sit, stay, lay down, shake, and spin. She has good name recall and is completely potty trained. I think she would love a yard where she can run around and be free and also be with another dog to have as a friend. She is really sweet and a great dog She loves to socialize with other dogs a lot. She can be a little skittish in loud environments, but she is generally calm. She does get a bit protective towards strangers and may bark in the house. Unfortunately I have allergies to her that progressively got worse as she grew older and I have tried a lot of different treatments, but they still affect me negatively daily.
