I am currently working on getting his shots up to date in the coming weeks as this is posted. Hank showed up at the neighbors door underweight and I took him in since they said they didn't want him. I am not sure if he is a runaway or just tossed, we tried finding his owner but no one claimed him. He's a super sweet boy and loves playing with a ball more than life itself. He is easily startled and isn't fond of other dogs as he and my beagle got into a spat. He is fine with kids and doesn't pay any attention to cats that I've seen. He has a ton of energy and will come right to you if you call his name or have a ball in your hand, he hasn't been trained in anyway as I don't have the time needed to work with him but he will stay in a crate and will not mess in it. Not house trained. I'm looking to rehome him as he doesn''t get along with my other dog and can't give him the attention he needs. Thanks for taking the time to read this! :)

We are looking to rehome our pointer/pit bull mix, Delta. Delta is a rescue we adopted from Baltimore, MD around 2018. She was 7 months old when we got her. We know she had been abused by her previous owner and wasn’t even potty trained when she came to us, but has come such a long way and has grown into such a sweet, affectionate, loving girl. This is a difficult decision for us, and we want to be completely transparent about why we are looking for a new home for her. Delta needs to be the only dog in the household. She has gotten into some serious fights with our other two dogs over the years. These incidents are not constant, but they have happened repeatedly, and the most recent fight occurred very close to our 2-year-old son. With another baby on the way, we cannot take the risk of our toddler or our new baby accidentally being caught in the middle of a fight. We want to find someone who understands her history, and can provide her with the calm, one-dog home she deserves.

He’s very smart and eager to learn more, and he’s very food-motivated, making his training even smoother. He also has a quirky personality and is always ready to make someone laugh. He does come from a previously abusive situation before the current house he resides in, with a past history of being attacked by other dogs. He might freeze from time to time if he gets anxious, and he doesn’t particularly like loud noises or voices. Despite this, he is still very friendly with just about everyone and seems to enjoy the presence of other dogs as well as cats. He is up to date on all vaccinations, is neutered, and is also microchipped. He weighed roughly about 56 pounds when he was last weighed a few months ago, but has since put on a couple healthy pounds and is probably closer to 60 pounds. Poppy is a wonderful and sweet boy, who deserves someone with a lot more free time on their hands and yard to run around in.
