Story
"ELLIE" is a POINTER MIX, about 4 years old and weights aprox. 25 kg. or 55 lbs. "ELLIE" was saved by Anastasia herself who believed the dog to be expecting puppies. She rescued her up so that “ELLIE” could have her babies safely at our sanctuary. One problem, after a quick visit to the vets, it was determined that “ELLIE” wasn’t pregnant at all, simply a bit on the chubby side. Anastasia found out later that a woman in the neighbourhood purposely overfed the strays in order to keep them around her house as a security system. "ELLIE" is now a slimmed down picture of health. With the proper diet, food and exercise she lost all excess weight and is now perfectly fit! She is also fully vetted and vaccinated, micro-chipped, and spayed. In addition, she has been housebroken and leash trained. "ELLIE" is quite human centered and immediately hits it off with strangers. She has a patient, sweet and warm personality and absolutely adores to be petted. She is also very food oriented and is easily trainable. She is social with other dogs, but as an Alpha female she is somewhat choosy when it comes to playmates and likes to be the boss. "ELLIE" would be happy in any sort of family setting. Story
DUKE is a POINTER MIX, 4 years old and weights approx 24kg. "DUKE" was found by a SPFG friend who was out in the woods with her dog. He was unconscious and starved almost to death, just skin on bones. He was one of the countless puppies hunters abandon when they discover they can't use them or sell them for hunting or breeding. Anastasia took him straight to our vet and called us. After a long phase of convalescence, followed a long period of recuperation; but now "DUKE" is a picture of health, fully vetted and vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered, also housebroken and leash trained. "DUKE" is an absolutely carefree boy who just loves everyone and everything, dogs, cats, people, strangers, bees, toads, car rides, doctors, butterflies, food. He gets excited seeing his friends even after a 5 min parting. He is curious, inquisitive and as a hunting dog has unlimited energy outdoors, whereas he calms inside. "DUKE" is a sensitive boy, very affectionate who needs gentle handling. He would be happy in any type of family, if he has ways to spend all that energy. Story
He is a POINTER, about 3 years old and weighs aprox. 17 kilos or 37 pounds. Anastasia met stray "THASOS" on a trip to the island of Thasos! He seemed to take a particulate liking to her because he kept following her around. And he was waiting for her outside in the mornings. It goes without saying that Anastasia brought him home with her when she returned. "THASOS" is typical of his breed; active and vigorous like a young colt outdoors, he turns into a normal and calm dog inside the house. He is friendly with all other animals (except birds that are his natural pray) and very playful with dogs. He adores people and is extremely eager to please them. He is also very sensitive and needs gentle handling. "THASOS" is a picture of health! SPFG has had him fully vetted and vaccinated, micro chipped, and neutered. And our volunteers have worked with him to make sure he is also housebroken and leash trained. He would be particularly happy with an active family. Quick Facts  Name: Emma Age: 3 years old  Gender: Female Neutered/Spayed: Yes Breed: Pointer Mix Color: Black & White Spotty Weight: 21kg   All About MeHello!! My human friends!! I am Emma, an energetic Pointer mix aged 3. I am a lovely girl with warm heart and brightness. However, people did not know me, and I was on the list of euthanasia at the city shelter. Fortunately, a kind rescuer saved me, and here I am. Now, I am sooooo ready to meet my lovy dovy happy family.   My PersonalityI am very bright girl with full of charming energy. I love people’s attention and being petted. When meeting new people, my tail does not stop wagging and my ears get flat with happiness. My handler said that it was so difficult to take a picture of me with proper ear shape because they got flat all the time when I was with people. I really enjoy being companion with people and I assertively approach to them to be petted. If you rub my belly, I will melt down immediately for more petting.   Social SkillsI am very good with new doggie friends. I usually say hi gently to them and then, just mind my own business. I can share treats with them and smell out each other to get to know. Though I am more interested in people and exploring new environments.   Energy and ActivitiesOutdoor activities and exercising are my favorite things. As I am a Pointer, I need to consume my energy properly. Otherwise, I may get stressed out. I also need to take my potty break outside, so regular strolling is essential for me. I may get excited when I go for walk and pull on leash a bit but this should be settle down soon with some training, for sure. If you need a companion who can enjoy a lot of energetic activities together, I am here for you.   Special NotesIf you see me, you will instantly realize how adorable I am. I have bright energy and easy-going personality. Let me spread my happy virus to you. We can have lots of fun adventures together!!   For More YouTube Clips, Click Here!Emma's YouTube Playlist ##2457213##

Story
**Note: Jigoo is currently in Korea, but he will fly to his destination upon adoption. Background Handsome Jigoo was rescued from a city pound in Buan, Korea, this past summer. When we first saw him, he was chained outside, waiting for someone to notice him. Even with his injured hind legs, he wagged his tail and greeted us with his whole heart, as if asking us to take him home. Sadly, not much is known about his past. The city pound told us he was found in a small village with leg injuries—likely from being caught in a trap—but no one knows for sure. After a month at the pound, we welcomed Jigoo into our boarding house, where he has been living happily with other dogs ever since. Despite everything he’s been through, Jigoo has never lost his spirit. He is brave, positive, and overflowing with love—an inspiring little soul who is ready for his second chance at life. Personality & Socialization Jigoo has a medium energy level and a heart full of love. He’s social, friendly, and adores people. Cuddles and pets are his absolute favorite—he’ll happily curl up in your lap and soak up all the affection he can get. He also enjoys the company of other dogs, especially those who are gentle and well-mannered. Even with his hind leg limitations, Jigoo can still run, play, and do zoomies like any other happy pup. His determination and joy for life are truly inspiring. But more than anything, Jigoo is a people’s dog—he lives for human companionship. Behaviour Quiet, calm, and well-mannered, Jigoo is a dream companion. When no one’s around, he relaxes peacefully, but when people or dogs invite him to play, he’s ready with a wagging tail. He’s excellent on car rides, at the vet, and even during bath time—always impressing everyone with his sweet nature. He enjoys walks, outdoor time, and learning new things, as he’s a quick and eager learner. Jigoo moves easily on his two front legs. He also has prosthetic legs that he uses for outdoor activities. He has no problem going for walks, playing, and running around. Health & Diet Other than his hind legs, Jigoo is healthy and thriving. His full vet checkup gave him a clean bill of health. Regular walks will help him continue to strengthen his back muscles. Jigoo is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, dewormed, and on monthly parasite prevention. He eats kibble twice a day and has no known allergies. Ideal Home Jigoo is a gentle, affectionate, and resilient boy who has so much love to give. He would do best with a family who works from home or is retired, so he can spend lots of time with his people—that’s what makes him happiest. Jigoo’s sweet personality, bravery, and love for life make him truly special. Whoever adopts him will be incredibly lucky. ---------------------------------------- For more info, please follow the link below. https://www.freekoreandogs.org/dog/jigoo/

Story
Brown is one of the happiest dogs you’ll ever meet! His enthusiasm is contagious, and he finds pure joy in just about everything—walks, treats, belly rubs, and all the love he can get. With his high energy, Brown is looking for an active family who can provide plenty of exercise and ongoing training to keep him engaged and happy. He’s wonderful with people, including children, but his excitement can make him a bit jumpy, so a home without very small kids would be best. Brown is currently being assessed for his interactions with other dogs. He’s doing well with female dogs but will need slow and careful introductions to ensure positive relationships with other canine companions. Resilient and full of spirit, Brown has overcome a lot. He was transferred to us from another shelter, where he was rescued from a neglect and cruelty situation. Shortly after arriving, Brown was diagnosed with leishmaniasis, a disease transmitted by sand fly that requires daily medication and routine blood and urine testing. He also tested positive for two tick-borne diseases, Ehrlichia and Anaplasma, both of which have been successfully treated, though his blood values still need regular monitoring. Despite these challenges, Brown’s vibrant personality hasn’t wavered. He was recently diagnosed with pemphigus foliaceus, an immune disorder affecting his skin, but with treatment of a low-dose steroid, he’s doing well. Is Brown the loving, resilient companion you’ve been waiting for? His medical needs don’t slow him down, and they shouldn't slow you down from welcoming this wonderful boy into your home!

Story
Timon is a German Pointer mix with a sharp mind and a deep devotion to his people. This intelligent boy thrives in a structured environment where he can put his skills to good use—whether it's playing a game of fetch, learning new commands, or simply being by your side. While Timon is incredibly loyal to those he trusts, he needs time and patience when meeting new people. Slow, muzzled introductions are essential to help him feel safe and build positive associations. He also has some resource-guarding tendencies, so he’ll need an experienced adopter who understands how to manage and work through this behavior with consistency and confidence. Because of his breed and personality, Timon will do best in a home familiar with working breeds—one that can provide both mental and physical enrichment. With the right guidance, he will make an incredible companion for someone who respects his boundaries and is committed to continuing his training. Timon isn’t the kind of dog for everyone, but for the right person, he will be an unshakable, devoted companion. If you have experience with dogs like him and are looking for a smart, loving partner, Timon is ready to meet you!
