Meet Duke! Duke is a fun-loving, goofy Lab/Pointer mix born around the beginning of the year. He’s a curious and social pup who’s always ready to play and make new friends—human or canine! Duke is still learning the ropes of potty training and leash walking, but he’s making steady progress. He’s looking for a family who’s ready to guide him with patience and lots of love. If you’re searching for a playful, affectionate companion with a big heart and even bigger personality, Duke could be the one for you! Our rescue pets are fostered in Southern foster homes (unless otherwise stated) and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Our pets are adoptable in Alabama and New England States. Our adoption fee includes transport fee, spay/neuter, current vaccinations, deworming, heart worm test for animals over 7 months old, all necessary vetting and an interstate health certificate. Once an application is received, our team is happy to answer all of your questions and send additional pictures and videos. Thank you for thinking rescue!

Meet Goose: your future zoomie loving best friend. He is just shy of a year old and is an handsome English Pointer mixed breed. He is equal parts silly, sweet, and toy obsessed. Truly, he would do your taxes if it meant earning his favorite squeaky reward. The best part? He’s not possessive — he’s all about playing and is happy to share. He is looking for an active family with a fenced in yard for him to stretch his long legs and show off his Olympic level zoomie skills. He would likely do well with another playful dog pending a successful meet and greet. He’s still young and is working on his manners (and can be mouthy in a playful way), he is best suited to a home with teens or adults who can redirect his enthusiasm. Goose is incredibly affectionate and wildly entertaining. He is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and more than ready to trade shelter life for toys, adventures, and a forever family that thinks a crooked smile is the best kind of smile. ADOPTION INFORMATION *PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO STRINGENT OUT OF STATE HEALTH CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENTS WE ARE NOW ONLY ADOPTING TO RHODE ISLAND RESIDENTS*. We apologize for the inconvenience. HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING: 1. Come in during adoption hours to apply and fill out an application completely. We have applications on site. Open adoption hours take place at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI. We are open every Wednesday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm. 2. We require proof of homeownership (tax form, deed, mortgage statement) or landlord approval (a copy of your lease that clearly states you are allowed to have a dog, puppy, cat, or kitten OR written and signed consent from your landlord. 3. We require copies of up to date vet records for any current pets. Helpful reminders: *We do not do same day adoptions. *Please bring the entire family in to meet the animal you are interested in. *We will setup a meet and greet with your dog at a later date. PLEASE do not bring your dog with you when you come in to apply.

Hello, my name is ​Jasper. I​ was named after the gemstone, Jasper. I am as sweet as a ​sugar, but as playful as can be. I am always happy to see you. I am loving life. ​My new family has to like a fellow with a lot of energy. My new family I would like to hike, go to the beach, go camping, and love to play in the backyard. My original family kept me tied up with little water and even a smaller amount of shade. The lady who rescued me along with my friends Terra and ​O​sa knew I did not have any chance of surviving. So, like she has with so many human parents, go up and demand I am released. Not just because it was right, but because she knew it would be saving my life. Happily, 2 years ago I​ was surrendered to my rescuerer's rescue. Today everything is ​forgotten. But for sure, I want my own family. It does not matter if they have a fur sibling for me or not. I will bring so much joy and many hours of happiness.
