Meet Khonshu Khonshu's story starts with a stroke of luck: he was found wandering the streets, no microchip, wearing two collars but no tags, thin and clearly on his own for too long, politely approaching people for help. Since then, this goofy boy has been soaking up every bit of love and structure he can get, and he's blossomed into an absolute sweetheart. Personality Plus: Khonshu is playful, curious, and endlessly affectionate. He wants to be wherever his people are, leaning in for pets, resting his head on your lap, and greeting you with so much enthusiasm that he sometimes trips over his own feet trying to get to you. He's a little uncoordinated in the most endearing way, and it's clear he just can't contain his joy when he sees his favorite humans or animal friends. He's highly active and loves to play, chasing his dog buddies, learning the ropes of tug-of-war, and happily gnawing on a good squeaky toy. His people make sure to get plenty of playtime in before bed to help him settle for the night. He's also incredibly food motivated, which makes training a breeze, and he's already picking up sit, down, shake, and leash manners faster than expected. He's smarter than he looks! Getting Settled: Khonshu is house trained and still finessing his kennel manners (he'll whine occasionally, but he's largely comfortable in his crate). He does great on a leash and is eager to learn more.
