  Meet Lovely Lucy, female 1 year old Short Hair Pointer Lab mix which makes her very loyal, sweet and friendly.  She is spayed, heartworm free, all shots done, including rattlesnake and has 6 months supply of flea and tick meds. She was abandoned in my neighborhood and may have had a tussle with another animal as her knee was strained, but she is on the road to health and can run, run, run! She also sits, stays, has learned to jump over posts, and hopped right into the tub for her bath. She is learning to not pull on a leash and getting better everyday.  She enjoys sitting on a porch with the water hose running around her while she laps up the water. She is not aggressive, loves all ages, all people, dogs and cats. She needs a big yard to play with her favorite toys and plenty of love because she deserves it.  She weighs 70 pounds.Lucy is in obedience training and is doing great!!!! Say hello to Wyatt! He is the happiest boy you will ever meet! Wyatt has the most adorable wiggle butt and absolutely can't contain his excitement every time someone enters his kennel. You can definitely see the Pointer in him; he will sometimes fixate on things in his surroundings and get in that Pointer stance. When out in play yards, he runs around with the most joyful hops! Some of you may recognize Wyatt from when he was with us last year. Unfortunately, he was recently brought back due to food reactivity. Wyatt's previous family shared that he was non reactive to the adults with his food bowl, but was reactive with their 12 year old son. When tested at the shelter, he was non reactive to us.You can't help but smile when you're around this cutie. Not only does Wyatt adore people, but he gets along well with other dogs. Wyatt genuinely loves his life and deserves to share that love with the perfect family! Wyatt is a Hound/Pointer mix, weighs 50 pounds, and was born on 5/13/2021. He is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and flea/tick/heartworm preventative. Wyatt must be an indoor dog, meaning he sleeps in the home setting and does not live outside. Franco’s mom was adopted by a very nice couple who soon found out she was pregnant! Mom is a German Short Haired Pointer. Our best guess is that dad is a Lab. The mom’s parents have taken very good care of the puppies including getting their tails docked and their dewclaws removed. It wasn’t long before they realized they would need help finding homes for these babies. They didn’t want them to leave without being spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped! That is where Mini Wonders Adoptions comes in. We have had all the babies fully vetted and they are now ready to find their furever homes!
