Story
  Meet Lovely Lucy, female 1 year old Short Hair Pointer Lab mix which makes her very loyal, sweet and friendly.  She is spayed, heartworm free, all shots done, including rattlesnake and has 6 months supply of flea and tick meds. She was abandoned in my neighborhood and may have had a tussle with another animal as her knee was strained, but she is on the road to health and can run, run, run! She also sits, stays, has learned to jump over posts, and hopped right into the tub for her bath. She is learning to not pull on a leash and getting better everyday.  She enjoys sitting on a porch with the water hose running around her while she laps up the water. She is not aggressive, loves all ages, all people, dogs and cats. She needs a big yard to play with her favorite toys and plenty of love because she deserves it.  She weighs 70 pounds.Lucy is in obedience training and is doing great!!!! She’s a shy, sensitive girl who is looking for a patient and understanding family to help her adjust and feel safe.Belle has been having a bit of a hard time settling into the shelter environment and would much rather trade it in for a cozy bed and a quiet, loving home. She was rescued from a city shelter after being surrendered alongside another pet, and she’s been blossoming more each day in foster care. In her foster home, Darla has shown just how much love she has to give. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and truly enjoys having furry companions around, so she’d do great in a home with another pup. She has also been around cats—while she can be a little timid at first, she shows curiosity and is learning to feel more comfortable with time.Darla is a playful girl who absolutely loves her toys, and she’s happiest when she has something fun to carry around or chew on. She’s also working on her crate training and doing well as she learns her routine.She’s already made great progress with house training—she goes potty outside and only had a couple of accidents during her first few days while she was learning the layout of her foster home.Most of all, Darla is a loving, gentle soul who just wants to feel safe and be part of a family.
