Please read the entire post before contacting us. Milo is located in Napa please live within 1.5 hours of Napa if interested in adopting. MILO   Milo is a spunky Pomeranian mix estimated to be about 7 years young. He was rescued from the Solano County Animal Shelter after having been picked up as a stray. He is chipped,  neutered and up to date on all vaccinations. He's housetrained and has never had an accident inside as a foster.  Initially, as a foster, he was a little wary and it’s taken a bit for him to trust. He does well if you talk  to him and don’t come upon him without warning. He loves cuddling with his people in bed, and with a simple mention of “up up” turns to let us pick him up and put him on the bed. He was growly at first, but after realizing just a bit of advance warning and saying his name resulted in cooperation, he’s been much better. He gets along with small dogs just fine and lets his little rescued brother cuddle in with him. He’s not so great with his 45 lb  big sister though. He would do fine with any number of small dogs or as an only pet. Unknown whether he tolerates cats or children. He’s good on a leash, though he does pull a bit.  He loves his walks and chasing balls (but the balls are HIS so we don’t take them back until he’s done! )  He does well in a crate while his humans are home, but seems anxious when put in his crate when we are out of the house. When visitors come, he runs right to them and wants to be petted, but will need a little time on the trust issue.  He has some really “good boy” in him and loves to be where ever his humans are in the house.  He doesn't tolerate messing with his food bowl until he's finished, so it comes to his food, don’t try to take his bowl before he’s done! That being said, he waits his turn (4th in line) to get his food bowl and does not try to take food from his brother and sisters while he waits for his bowl to be put down.  He mostly comes when he's called and a simple "up up" and he's compliant to be picked up to be put on the bed at night, or jump up to his spot on the sofa.  Foster family is willing to assist with adoption fees for the right forever family!  ##1636183##

Tom is a very sweet young pup! He's curious and a bit clumsy but very smart and easily trained. Doesn't bark much and loves playing with other dogs. It would be ideal if he and his sister Abby can be adopted together! Their mom is a pomeranian but dad is unknown.

Abby is a Pom mix, appx 1.5 yrs old. Very sweet, gentle, affectionate girl, also very playful and smart. She likes to explore, walks well on leash, doesn't bark much, and loves to play with her brother Tom. It would be ideal if they can be adopted together!

At 10-12 ish years old he can still enjoy slightly long walks, but not too long! Cuts into nap time. He loves a good dog park visit. Duke does show some leash aggression, but all he needs is your assurance that everything is good.Duke loves a ride in the car, he can be vocal upon arrival at the park.Working on his leash reactions, he has no problem with dogs in a dog park or yard situation.
