If you are hoping for a gentle best friend, Root Beer is ready to spend her golden years by your side. This adorable little fluff ball joined us from the San Jose Animal Care Center when they sought help with a much needed dental procedure.

She's a snuggly, affectionate girl who's happiest curled up next to her people, sharing quiet moments and soft cuddles. Mya joined us from Bradshaw Sacramento County Animal Services after she was found as a stray.

He absolutely charms everyone with his soulful eyes and no one can resist petting his amazing mane. Yeti is as gentle, loving, and sweet as can be and he is the perfect snuggle buddy for cozy evenings and quiet mornings. Yeti moves through life at an easy pace. He is not much for long walks, but he definitely loves yard explorations, sunbathing, treats, belly rubs, and just being near his favorite people. He is great around other dogs as well as cats and even kids. This mellow gentleman is looking for a peaceful, loving home where he can enjoy his golden years surrounded by kindness, comfort, and plenty of snacks. He would prefer a house and a yard that he can easily navigate, without tricky steps or staircases. Yeti joined us from Contra Costa Animal Services. Due to his senior status and their constraints for space, they felt he would do best in a senior-focused rescue to find his forever family.

When Sugar Cookie arrived, she had quite a bit going on medically, including multiple mammary masses. Our veterinary team is working carefully and lovingly to help her feel her very best. She's already showing us how resilient she is, facing everything with quiet grace and trust. Right now, Sugar Cookie needs something just as important as medical care: a warm, loving home. Could you be that safe place for her? She needs a family willing to be her support while she continues her journey to healing. A calm home where she can rest, recover, and be reminded that life can be gentle and kind.
