He looks forward to enjoying his golden years the way they're meant to be -- surrounded by kindness, companionship, and plenty of soft places to nap. Don't let his age fool you. Orange Crush still lights up when he's around other dogs. He absolutely loves canine friends and would do well in a home with or without other pups. His friendly, easygoing nature makes him a joy to be around, whether he's quietly lounging by your side or softly wagging his tail to say hello. With his incredibly soft fur and even softer personality, Orange Crush is the definition of comfort and companionship. This sweet senior boy is basically a living teddy bear: soft, cuddly, gentle, and always ready to curl up beside you for a nap. Cream Corn's favorite activities include snuggling under blankets, soaking up affection, and giving the kind of calm companionship only an older dog can provide. He's not much of an athlete these days -- long walks are definitely not his thing anymore -- but if you're looking for a laid-back best friend who's happiest lounging by your side, Cream Corn is your guy. Cream Corn would thrive in a cozy home where he can enjoy the simple pleasures: soft beds, kind humans, and plenty of cuddle time. If your ideal evening involves relaxing on the couch with a sweet senior nestled next to you, Cream Corn is ready to make himself right at home! Sweet little Cream Corn came from San Jose Animal Care and Services as a stray. Due to their overcrowded shelter and his senior status, they felt he would do best with a senior dog rescue to find his forever home!

Dad, however, remains a mystery. In fact, we're not entirely convinced there was only one dad because, as the old song goes, one of these things is not like the others! The three boys all resemble chunky little Lab mixes, while their sister looks like she borrowed all her genes from the fluffy side of the family and could easily pass for a tiny Pomeranian mix.   What we do know is that every single one of them inherited Mama's sweet nature, playful spirit, and love of family time.   A Day in the Life of the Feather Puppies   The Feather crew starts each day around 8:00 AM with a trip outside for potty time and morning playtime. After working up an appetite, they head inside for breakfast before settling into their favorite activities: playing, wrestling, exploring, and napping.   Throughout the day, they enjoy frequent trips outside to run around and burn off puppy energy. Indoors, they're usually found either tumbling around together or piled into the cutest puppy nap heap imaginable.   Dinner is served around 7:00 PM, followed by more playtime, cuddles, and puppy antics before everyone settles down for bed around 10:00 PM.   Like all young puppies, they're still learning about the world and will need families committed to continuing their training, socialization, and house-training as they grow.     Lark: She may be the smallest puppy in the family, weighing in around 5-6 lbs, but she's overflowing with charm. She's also the fluffiest of the bunch, sporting a soft coat that makes her look like a tiny stuffed animal come to life.   While she enjoys playing with her siblings, Lark tends to be a little more thoughtful and reserved than the boys. When their wrestling matches become a bit too enthusiastic, she's smart enough to seek out a quiet little hideaway where she can recharge with a peaceful nap.   One of Lark's most endearing habits is her determination to stand up on her hind legs. Unfortunately, her balance isn't always quite as determined. More often than not, her grand performance ends with her tipping backward onto her fluffy little back, leaving everyone nearby laughing.     Cardinal: If you're looking for a cuddle expert, Cardinal would like to submit his application immediately.   This affectionate 8ish lb boy loves people and is happiest when he's snuggled up close. His favorite nap spot is on the sofa with his head resting in a lap, and he generously hands out puppy kisses whenever the opportunity arises.   Cardinal also has a serious appreciation for toys and enjoys sampling every texture available. Squeaky toys, plush toys, chew toys— he's happy to test them all and report back on their quality.     Finch: This 8ish lb boy approaches life with enthusiasm and curiosity. If something exciting is happening, Finch wants to be part of it.   This playful, adventurous puppy will perk up whenever he thinks he might be missing out on something fun. If there's action, Finch will come sprinting to investigate.   His curiosity occasionally leads to some creative problem-solving attempts. At one point, he apparently decided his food bowl needed landscaping and tried digging a hole inside it. While the project was ultimately unsuccessful, we admire his commitment.   When the adventures are over, Finch is also a wonderful cuddle buddy who enjoys settling in close for some well-earned affection.     Sparrow: The class clown of the family and possibly the most playful puppy in the bunch, 8ish lb Sparrow is a happy-go-lucky goofball.   He approaches every day like it's the best day ever and is always looking for a game. His current favorite pastime is engaging in epic tug-of-war battles with unsuspecting shoelaces while people are trying to walk.   He's also provided some excellent entertainment by chasing his own tail with great determination, only to finally catch it, flop over dramatically, and begin chewing on it as though he had discovered a fascinating new toy.   Despite his playful energy, Sparrow has a sweet, snuggly side. When he's tired, he loves curling up with his head resting on someone's feet, making sure he's touching his people even while he sleeps.   The Perfect Homes   Each Feather puppy has their own unique personality, but they all share the same puppy essentials: they need families who are ready for the joys, challenges, and occasional chaos that come with raising a young puppy.   Whether you're looking for a cuddle bug, an adventurer, a comedian, or a fluffy little observer, one of these babies may be the perfect addition to your family.   They're growing quickly, learning new things every day, and are ready to begin the next chapter of their lives with families who will love them forever.   The Feather puppies have spent their first eight weeks surrounded by love. Now they're ready to find homes where that love will continue for a lifetime.  June 5, 2026, 12:28 am
