Meet Wafer! He is a male POMACHON (Pomeranian and Bischon Frise) who is just a puppy (DOB 6/2026) and weighs less than 5 pounds. Wafer was just neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. He is heartworm neg and on prevention including fleas. WAFER is just adorable and all things puppy; curious, funny, energetic and playful. He is trained to use Pee Pads. He was a cast off from an area breeder. Being rescued from a high volume breeder doesn't mean there is anything wrong, The dog could have been the wrong color, size, fur, whatever or now retired from breeding. We are lucky enough to work with a vet in the area who cares enough to scoop up these dogs and get them adopted instead of ........?? Adoption fee is 600 All Ashland County Humane Society animals' adoption fees include: spay/neuter micro-chip de-worming vaccinations, including rabies heartworm prevention If you are interested in adopting this dog, please visit: www.ashlandhumane.org/adoption-application (copy and paste link to address bar) for a printable application. Meet Midnight, a 1 ½-year-old Spitz mix whose sleek, shiny black coat makes him look like a million bucks—or at least a very dashing prince of darkness! Midnight is a total sweetheart, though he can be a little cautious when meeting new faces. When he first arrived in our care, he was so unsure of his new surroundings that he wouldn’t let us touch him, but once he realizes you are a friend, he transforms into an absolute cuddle bug who loves to show off his signature, hilariously goofy toothy smile. Because of his initial nervousness, Midnight is looking for a home with adults or older children who can give him the brief time and space he needs to warm up. Once he opens his heart, he is pure affection and loves nothing more than snuggle time. Midnight gets along great with other dogs (though giant breeds can make him feel a bit small and overwhelmed), and he might even be open to sharing a space with dog-savvy cats!Please note that Midnight is staying in a foster home and is not available for same-day meet and greets.
