AGE: 1 YearSEX: MaleBREED: Pomeranian MixENERGY LEVEL: MediumDOG FRIENDLY: Yep!CAT FRIENDLY?: Maybe!KID FRIENDLY?: UntestedFOSTER IG: @mowgli.cockerpooMeet Aquino! Aquino is a confident, playful, and incredibly affectionate little guy who loves being around his people. He has plenty of energy and loves going for walks, sniffing and exploring, but he also has a wonderful ability to settle and relax. Aquino is a serious snuggler and an absolute lapdog - his signature move is running over, flopping onto his back, and immediately asking for belly rubs! He loves attention and affection, but is also happy to settle in his crate when he needs some downtime. He's food motivated, eager to please, and a quick learner who already knows sit and down and is learning crate and wait.Aquino is dog friendly and currently lives happily with another dog. He is a friendly, curious guy who enjoys getting out and exploring the world around him. He can be a little nervous when meeting new people and may bark when someone first comes into the home, but when given the opportunity to approach at his own pace, he warms up beautifully and becomes very affectionate. He is a confident boy overall and isn't bothered by everyday household sounds like the vacuum. He also walks well overall, with some pulling when he's excited or particularly interested in a smell. He loves his treats, is comfortable in the car, and is settling into his routines wonderfully.Aquino is working on his house training and continuing to work on his crate training and alone time. He sleeps comfortably in his crate once his needs are met, but is still learning to relax when his people are out of sight and will need continued support with this. He would love a family who enjoys having a playful, affectionate companion by their side and can continue helping him build his confidence and independence. With his goofy personality, sweet nature, eagerness to learn, and unmatched enthusiasm for belly rubs, Aquino is an absolute sweetheart who is sure to bring lots of fun and love to his forever home.Think you might be the right fit to provide a loving home for Aquino? Story
Jag is being fostered in Kingston Ontario Jag is an 8 year old, 15 pound, spayed, house and crate trained, female Pomeranian.  Her coat is cloud-soft but has shown no tendencies to mat so she always looks beautiful. Jag would do best in a quiet household with a person home most of the time. Upon arrival, she barked until she became accustomed to typical sounds, therefore, a detached home would be best.   So far, Jag has shown no concern about thunder storms.   She is well-behaved in the home and not destructive although she will shred tissues if she finds one. She is low-energy, liking outside but mainly sniffing the grass rather than walking very far. She's generally fine with passing cars and people, barking at dogs and not eager to befriend any.  She has also never lived with another dog or cat. Jag loves to cuddle. She's happiest when sitting with her people on the couch with hands stroking her.  I think a home with only adults where her routines are calm and predictable would bring out her sweet personality. Please complete our Adoption Application if you think you would be a great match for Jag:  https://www.speakingofdogs.com/adoption/adoption-process/. Due to time constraints, we cannot respond to every email asking for more information on a dog. Story
Meet Wood — 7-year-old Pomeranian | 2.5 kg | 23 cm   Wood is a sweet little Pomeranian who was rescued on July 3 after being neglected in a home. Sadly, by the time he was rescued, one of his eyes was already severely damaged and had to be removed. His teeth had also been left without proper care, and 13 teeth were extracted. Despite everything he has been through, Wood is an incredibly affectionate and easygoing little guy.   With People Wood absolutely loves people! He is friendly not only with those he knows but also with strangers, happily approaching them for attention and rubbing against them. If someone is giving him affection, he may even ask to be picked up. He is comfortable with both men and women and can easily be lifted with an arm under his belly. Once he feels close to you, he’ll even roll over and show his belly.   With Other Dogs Wood will approach unfamiliar dogs to say hello, but he isn’t particularly interested in playing with them. He generally prefers doing his own thing and is especially comfortable around dogs smaller than himself. Even if another dog tries to provoke him, Wood tends to simply move away rather than engage. At heart, he is definitely more of a people dog than a dog’s dog.   With Cats Wood’s reaction to cats has not yet been observed, but a cat test can be arranged upon request.   Energy Level & Walks Wood has a low energy level and is happiest relaxing quietly. Because of the hot weather, he hasn’t had much opportunity for proper walks yet, so his leash skills are still being observed.   At Home Wood currently shows no resource guarding around food with either people or other dogs. He is also doing very well on his own, with no significant separation anxiety or barking observed at this time. As with any rescue dog, his behaviour may change as he transitions into a new home, so a gradual adjustment period is recommended.   He generally does his business outdoors.   Wood at a glance: 7 years old Neutered male Pomeranian 2.5 kg | 23 cm Low energy Very affectionate & people-oriented Calm and independent around other dogs Currently doing well when left alone   Wood may have had a difficult past, but he hasn’t lost his love for people. He’s a tiny, gentle boy who would love nothing more than a comfortable home and someone to adore. Apply to adopt or foster: https://adoptmekr.org  PLEASE ALSO VISIT OUR FACEBOOK AND INSTAGRAM! QUICK FACTS Name: Jolly Age: 8 years old (Born January 2018) Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Pomspitz Color: White Weight:  4.1kg / 9lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from an illegal puppy farm, where I never had the chance to experience the safe and loving life every dog deserves. Thankfully, I was given a second chance and those difficult days are now behind me. I’m ready to start a brand new chapter with a forever family who will cherish me, shower me with love, and finally show me what it feels like to truly belong. Volunteers and staff believe I’m Kkoysong’s sister.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Healthy with no known health issues I have a slight underbite, which only adds to my adorable charm! It doesn’t cause me any issues, and I’m otherwise doing great.   MY PERSONALITY I’m a little shyer than my sister Kkosyong, but underneath my quiet nature is an incredibly sweet and affectionate girl. Because I wasn’t properly socialized earlier in life, I simply need some extra time and patience while I learn that I’m safe. Once I trust you, my affectionate side really comes out. I’ll happily follow you around asking for pets and cuddles, and I can actually be even more attention-loving than my sister! I also have some adorable little quirks. I like to enjoy my meals peacefully in my own corner and take my sweet time eating, which the volunteers find quite funny. Once I’m comfortable with you, I’m very cooperative with grooming and do well with nail trims, brushing, baths, and ear cleaning. Since I’m still building confidence in new environments, I may try to slip through an open door if I see an opportunity. My future family will need to be mindful of doors and make sure I’m safely secured and supervised, especially while I’m adjusting to my new home. With patience, a secure environment, and lots of love, I know my sweet and cuddly personality will continue to blossom.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I can be a little shy when we first meet, but with some patience and a few tasty treats, I warm up quickly and will happily take treats right from your hand. Since I didn’t have many opportunities for socialization earlier in life, I simply need a little extra time and understanding as I adjust to new people and environments. I even did wonderfully during my profile photoshoot and showed everyone just how sweet I can be! I’m comfortable being picked up, but gentle handling is important to me, especially when we’re still getting to know each other. I feel safest when my body and bottom are properly supported, and sudden pick-ups in unfamiliar environments can startle me and make me very scared. Once I’ve had time to build trust, though, I’m much more comfortable being held. After all, who doesn’t appreciate being treated with a little patience and gentleness? · With Dogs: I enjoy greeting new dogs, but I prefer to take my time rather than jumping straight into play. I coexist peacefully with my dog friends at the care facility and am comfortable sharing my space with them. I generally feel most at ease with dogs around my size or smaller, especially those with a calm and respectful approach. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a low energy level and am a true little couch potato at heart! I love spending my days relaxing, snoozing, and enjoying the comfort of a cozy indoor space. I don’t need constant activity to be happy and am perfectly content taking it easy and resting near my people.   TRAINING & HABITS I have great manners around food and don’t guard my meals from either people or other dogs. I also walk nicely on leash and follow my handler’s lead well, making me an easy and enjoyable walking companion. I’m a very quiet girl who rarely barks and generally prefers a peaceful environment. I already know how to settle and rest calmly in my kennel, so I’m comfortable having some quiet time on my own. For potty habits, I currently go both indoors using pee pads and outdoors. With a consistent routine in my forever home, I’m sure I’ll continue making great progress.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • Understanding of my shy nature and willing to be patient while I come out of my shell   SPECIAL NOTES I’m a sweet, quiet girl who simply needs a little patience to show you just how loving I can be. Because I had limited socialization earlier in life, I may be shy at first and appreciate gentle handling, a secure environment, and the freedom to adjust at my own pace. Once I feel safe, my affectionate side really blossoms. I’ll happily follow my favorite people around looking for pets, cuddles, and companionship. I’m also a low energy little couch potato who loves peaceful days, cozy naps, and having my own space to relax. I get along well with other dogs, especially those around my size or smaller, and I already have wonderful habits like walking nicely on leash, settling calmly in my kennel, and having good manners around food. Give me a little time to trust you, and I promise there’s a gentle, loyal, and loving companion waiting to blossom.   JOLLY'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2818188##

I’m ready to start a brand new chapter with a forever family who will cherish me, shower me with love, and finally show me what it feels like to truly belong.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Healthy with no known health issues During a routine health check in January 2026, I was diagnosed with hip dysplasia in both hips. The good news is that I’m currently showing no related symptoms and am doing well!   MY PERSONALITY Don’t let my age fool you! I may be a little older, but I still look and act like an adorable puppy. I can be shy when we first meet, but it doesn’t take long for me to warm up, especially when treats are involved! I have a great appetite, which makes me eager to learn and gives me so much potential with positive training. The volunteers say I’m even cuter in person and look just like a little doll. I also get along wonderfully with other dogs and enjoy having canine friends around. With my youthful spirit, sweet personality, and willingness to learn, I have so much love and happiness to bring to my future family.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I can be a little shy when we first meet, but with some patience and a few tasty treats, I warm up quickly and will happily take treats right from your hand. Since I didn’t have much opportunity for socialization earlier in life, I simply need a little extra time and understanding while I adjust to new people and environments. I happily accept pets when I’m in the mood, but I don’t need constant cuddles to feel loved. As tempting as my adorable face may be, I’ll appreciate a family who understands my boundaries and lets me come to them at my own pace. · With Dogs: I’m a friendly and social girl who enjoys meeting new dog friends! I happily greet new dogs and get along wonderfully with dogs of all different sizes. Whether they’re big or small, I’m always happy to make a new canine friend and enjoy their company. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level. I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring, and having fun, but once I’ve had my activity and excitement, I’m more than happy to come inside and relax comfortably indoors.   TRAINING & HABITS I have great manners around food and don’t guard my meals from either people or other dogs. I also walk nicely on leash and follow my handler’s lead well, making me an enjoyable walking companion. I can occasionally bark when I’m looking for attention or when I first meet someone unfamiliar, but I settle down quickly once I realize everything is okay. I am a Pomspitz, after all, so I have to use my voice sometimes! I already know how to rest calmly in my kennel and am comfortable having quiet time on my own. I prefer doing my potty business outdoors and naturally like to keep myself and my space nice and clean.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. Just like a flower waiting for its time to bloom, I’m ready to blossom into the wonderful companion I know I can be. With a little love, patience, and encouragement, I can’t wait to show my forever family all the potential and love I have inside me.   KKOSYONG'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2818185##

Story
QUICK FACTS Name: Dodo Age: 4 years old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Pomeranian Jindo mix Color: Brown Weight: 5kg / 11lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from the euthanasia list at a crowded city pound, where my future became uncertain simply because there was no more space left for dogs like me. Through no fault of my own, my time was running out. Thankfully, kind rescuers stepped in just in time and gave me a second chance at life. Now, I’m finally safe and hoping to find a loving forever family where I can truly belong.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I can be shy in the beginning, but I promise I’m worth the wait. Beneath my timid side is a super cute, loving, and gentle boy who just needs a little patience and understanding to fully come out of his shell. I would do best with a family that understands rescue dogs and is willing to let me build trust at my own pace. I rely a lot on my dog friends for emotional support, and having calm, supportive companions around me helps me open up more quickly and feel safe. Even with my shy moments, I’m generally a bright, positive boy who wants to connect and experience the world with confidence and love.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I can be shy at first, but I’ll gently take treats from your hands and slowly accept soft pets as I get comfortable. I also allow myself to be picked up and handled gently. Even though I may seem timid in the beginning, I’m a very gentle and sweet boy at heart, and with patience and kindness, I truly do warm up. In a home environment where I can feel safe and settled, I’m confident I’ll bond with my new family relatively quickly and show my loving personality more and more each day. · With Dogs: I’m super friendly with my dog friends and love greeting new dogs and playing with them. I tend to get along best with dogs of a similar size, where I feel the most comfortable and confident. I’m also very much a peacekeeper and prefer to avoid conflict, even if another dog is being pushy or rude. Rather than escalating situations, I usually choose to stay calm and move away. I also rely a lot on my dog friends for emotional support, and having calm, friendly companions around me helps me feel more secure and confident. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level. I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it’s going for walks or exploring, but once I’ve had my activity, I’m more than happy to come inside, curl up, and enjoy a cozy nap or snuggle session.   TRAINING & HABITS I’m still improving my leash skills and building confidence every day. Overall, I walk well and follow my handler’s lead nicely, especially once I feel comfortable. I do best in quieter areas, as sudden loud noises can still startle me sometimes. With patience and continued positive experiences, I’m continuing to grow more confident. I have great manners around food and don’t guard my meals from people or other dogs. I also know how to rest calmly in my kennel and settle well when it’s time to relax. I’m comfortable using both pee pads indoors and going potty outside, making me adaptable to different routines and environments.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • A home with another dog sibling – not an absolute requirement   SPECIAL NOTES Volunteers and staff compliment me every day on how sweet and adorable I am. Even though I may seem shy at first, I actually adjust and adapt quite quickly once I start feeling safe and comfortable. My shyness mostly comes from meeting new people in the beginning, but I’m naturally curious and enjoy slowly approaching to get to know you. I especially love taking treats gently from people’s hands, which helps me build trust and confidence quickly.   DODO'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2736193##
