Story
Junior is a male Yorkie/Pomeranian mix, about 7 months old, and is looking for foster or foster to adopt home, where he can receive support and help with housetraining and learning that the world can be a safe and fun place. This cutie was recently surrendered to the animal shelter, along with his brother Bradley, as their owner is no longer able to care for them. Junior is neutered and current on vaccinations. Bradley and his brother Junior get along, although they do have their moments of when they both want the same toy. They do not have to be fostered or adopted together. However, we would like them to go to homes with other dogs of comparable sizes (approx. 20 to 30lbs, give or take) as we feel they would benefit from a friend to help them gain confidence and adjust to their new lives. Junior lived with a cat in his previous home but has not lived with or been around young children and we don't necessarily think he's ready for a home with young children, as he is still a bit shy and timid at times. We will provide support and guidance to help these kiddos adjust and thrive.

Story
Meet Enzo, a young, energetic dog with a playful and sweet disposition. Enzo is about one to two years old, is roughly 30lbs and is said to possibly be a Pomeranian/Terrier mix. He's always ready for zoomies in the yard or a brisk walk, and his curious nature makes every day an adventure. While Enzo loves adult company, he's not a fan of kids, preferring a quieter environment where he can thrive without too much chaos. Enzo's original owner bred him and sold him to someone who apparently confined him to a crate for extended periods of time and allowed the young child in the home to treat him unkindly. Enzo would be a great companion for someone who enjoys active days and peaceful evenings. He has lived with several other small dogs so homes with a comparably sized dog are a possibility and a meet and greet would be required. Enzo is neutered and current on vaccinations.

Story
Meet Toby! Toby is approximately 10 months old, 10 lbs and he might have some fox in his mix, LOL! In his foster home, he is working hard on house training, crate training, and leash walking. He could join households with kids 5+, and other playful dogs. No cats, please! His foster says, `Toby is adorableness wrapped in a 10lb body that makes him look like a tiny fox. If you remember Chester from Looney Tunes, that is who Toby resembles. He jumps around and barks to get others to play. He plays chase all around my house with a 45lb Vizsla. It is the cutest thing. True to puppy style, he crashes hard after playing hard. He will make someone a great playmate and companion.`He is available for adoption in Worcester or Hopkinton by appointment. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises.-Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt.- More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com

Story
Needs big yard in room to run he’s not fitted for the city. He’s great with one and two-year-olds and somewhat gets along with cats. He just needs a good home where he can play. He has accidents in the house, even though we try to keep them on the schedule because his previous owner as a puppy did not train him right he was kept in a pen almost 24 hours a day since I’ve had him for a year and a half he has learned to obey somewhat. He sleeps good. He sleeps in the house. He’s not in the crate. He’s a wonderful dog, but I just don’t have the energy. I’m 77. My husband is 73. He was my granddaughter‘s dog who lived with us like to find him a really good home.

Story
This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. (Please note: Puppies under 3 months old may not be sterilized prior to adoption. If this is the case, your adoption coordinator will provide guidance on the process.)   To adopt or learn more about this dog, you must complete an adoption application, which can be found on our website: www.sandypawsrescue.com.   PLEASE READ:     •    If a dog or puppy is listed, they are currently available for adoption. However, they may already be pending an adoption, and their profile may not yet reflect this.     •    All information is accurate to the best of our knowledge as of the posting date.     •    Unless explicitly stated, Sandy Paws Rescue does not guarantee the breed of any dog. Breeds listed are educated guesses made by shelter staff, volunteers, or veterinarians. Many of our dogs are mixed breeds, often with pit bull-type genetics, resulting in a wide variety of physical traits and temperaments.   Our dogs come from various situations, such as kill shelters, owner surrenders, or as strays. It is likely both parents were mixed breeds as well.   Sandy Paws Rescue does not have a public shelter in Massachusetts. Our dogs reside in private foster homes or boarding kennels in the South until adopted. Many dogs are spoken for prior to transport or release from state-mandated isolation.   For information on adoption fees, procedures, or FAQs, visit our website: www.sandypawsrescue.com.   The FIRST step in adopting from Sandy Paws Rescue is to submit a completed adoption application.   ##2834375##

Story
Pippin is an adorable 3-4 year old Chi mix. He is a local surrender who was adopted by a single senior. He had some itchiness and was given conventional pharmaceuticals which led to anxiety and eventually his return. He's a wonderful little dog who deserves a great forever home. He's pretty calm in his foster home and likes living with other small dogs, although it is not a requirement. More importantly, a holistic-minded adopter who will continue a healthy fresh food diet and supplements. He's really an adorable little dog who just needs the right home. He is from a stay-at-home situation and would do best with an at-home adopter. Please apply at https://www.saveadog.org/applytoadopt.asp, and the adoption team will get right back to you.
