Story
Ava is a 4-year-old, 14-pound black and tan Pomeranian with a full, fluffy coat and a calm, gentle presence that makes her incredibly easy to love. She has a quiet, steady personality and brings a sense of peace wherever she goes. Ava enjoys the company of other dogs and fits into a group beautifully. She’s never pushy or overwhelming, just happy to be nearby and included. She confidently uses the doggie door to take herself out for little breaks, then returns inside to relax in her favorite cozy spots. She has a soft, affectionate nature and prefers to stay close to her person. If you’re working, she’ll quietly settle under your desk, keeping you company without asking for much. At the end of the day, she’ll patiently wait to be lifted onto the couch so she can curl up beside you and unwind. Ava does well with grooming and brushing, happily standing still and enjoying the calm attention. She’s the kind of dog who thrives in a peaceful home where her gentle companionship is appreciated. Ava has luxating patellas in both knees, Grade 4 on the left and Grade 3 on the right. She is currently getting around, but this will need to be monitored and managed with a veterinarian over time. Ava is fully vetted, including a full exam, spay, dental, vaccinations, deworming, and fecal testing. She is current on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Ava is located in Bryan, TX, and her adoption fee is $650. Apply to adopt at www.tpsrescue.com

Story
Milo is a 2-year-old, 10-pound black and white Pomeranian with a big personality and a lot of energy to match. He’s a handsome, active little guy who thrives on attention and loves being close to his person. Milo was surrendered to rescue because his previous owner worked full time and couldn’t keep up with his energy level. He does best when he has plenty of interaction, activity, and structure throughout the day. He is very people-focused and enjoys cuddling on the couch once he’s had a chance to burn off some energy. He gets along with other dogs, though he’s still figuring out how to play appropriately. When he gets excited or anxious, he can bark and pace in circles, which can be confusing for other dogs. He has recently started on Prozac to help manage his anxiety, and we are already working on helping him feel more relaxed and settled. Milo is very food motivated, loves treats, and will benefit from continued guidance, routine, and positive outlets for both his physical and mental energy. With the right home, he has a wonderful, loving personality that really shines. Milo is fully vetted, including a full exam, neuter, vaccinations, microchip, and he is heartworm negative and current on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Milo is located in Santa Fe, TX, and his adoption fee is $650. Apply to adopt at www.tpsrescue.com

Story
Finn is a 4-year-old, 12-pound brindle Pomeranian with a gorgeous, unique coat and a soft, loyal personality. He came to rescue after his owner developed severe back problems and could no longer care for him, and he has settled into foster care beautifully. Finn can be shy when meeting new people, but once he trusts you, he becomes a complete Velcro dog who wants to be right beside you at all times. He loves laps, attention, and quiet companionship, and he forms strong bonds with his people. He gets along well with other dogs, though he hasn’t shown much interest in playing yet. He mostly prefers relaxing nearby and observing everything going on around him. He ignores cats, rides quietly in a crate in the car, walks nicely on leash, and does well going outside for potty breaks. Finn is a very quiet dog and rarely barks. He currently sleeps in a dog bed at night, though he would probably be thrilled to sleep in bed with his person if allowed. One of Finn’s funniest little habits is sneaking off with socks and slippers. He doesn’t chew them up or destroy them. He just likes collecting them and cuddling with them like tiny emotional support items. Finn is fully vetted, including a full exam, neuter, dental, vaccinations, deworming, and fecal testing. He is current on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Finn is located in Houston, TX, and his adoption fee is $650. Apply to adopt at www.tpsrescue.com

Story
Salem is a 1-year-old, 6-pound black Pomeranian with the prettiest little face and a tiny white patch on her chest that makes her extra special. She’s a dainty, soft-natured girl who takes a minute to figure things out, but once she does, she settles in and becomes a very sweet little companion. She can be a bit shy at first, but give her a few days and she warms up beautifully. Once she’s comfortable, she enjoys being near her people and quietly following along with whatever you’re doing. She has a gentle, easy presence and fits in nicely without being overwhelming. Salem gets along well with other dogs, cats, and kids. She’s currently learning how to walk on a harness and leash and is making progress with patience and consistency. She uses potty pads right now and will need continued guidance with potty training as she adjusts to a new home. Salem has a Grade 3 luxating patella on her left knee, while her right knee is normal. At this time, it is not causing her significant issues, but it will be important for her adopter to monitor and work with their veterinarian on any future needs. She’s a calm, observant little dog who just needs a bit of time and a steady routine to fully come into her own. With the right home, she will continue to build confidence and become a very loyal companion. Salem is fully vetted, including a full exam, spay, vaccinations, microchip, deworming, and she is current on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Salem is located in Austin, TX, and her adoption fee is $850. Apply to adopt at www.tpsrescue.com

Story
Chance is a 4-year-old, 7-pound black and tan Pomeranian with an incredible coat and an even better personality. He is full of fluff, low on drama, and very easy to love. Chance is friendly, sweet, and loves to snuggle with his people. He gets along well with dogs of all sizes and does just fine with cats. He’s not overly high energy and prefers a more relaxed lifestyle, with some playtime mixed in and plenty of cozy lounging. He’s very food motivated, even though he has no teeth, and mealtime is still one of his favorite parts of the day. He sleeps well in a crate overnight and enjoys having a soft dog bed to curl up in. He does have a tendency to mark indoors, so he currently wears a belly band, which works well for him. Chance is generally quiet and easygoing. The only thing he really has to say is about the vacuum, which he prefers to bark at from a safe distance rather than confront directly. He does have luxating patellas, but they are not currently causing him any discomfort or limiting his activity and just need to be monitored over time. Chance is fully vetted, including a full exam, neuter, extensive dental, vaccinations, deworming, microchip, and he is current on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Chance is located in Pflugerville, TX, and his adoption fee is $650. Apply to adopt at www.tpsrescue.com
