You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sunny The PomChi MEET SUNNY! Are you seeking a sweet, smaller dog to call your BFF fur buddy? Check Out Sunny! Sunny is in a tremendous but short-term foster home in Ballard. She needs her forever home. This darling girl is much loved by her former foster, who wanted to adopt Sunny. Sunny, however, was very afraid of one of the children, the youngest boy.. so Grandma had to let Sunny go. Sunny has the sweetest, most loving personality. Once she knows you are a great person, she will seek you out for belly rubs, close body cuddles, and adventurous walks. Sunny even loves the rain, and it will not deter her from doing her daily sightseeing. If you have a smaller breed dog who loves the company of a pup, that is the perfect life for Sunny, a good dog friend and a loving human who will treat her like the queen she is. Sunny is approximately 12 pounds and not quite two years old. She is a Pomeranian-Chihuahua who lives for her walks and being in your lap. How Can You Meet Sunny? Please use this link to apply, One of our volunteers will review the application and call to follow up with questions, answer yours, and see if you are a match  Sunny has been transitioned to a human-grade diet that avoids kibble in place of a healthy canine-specific feeding regimen. We will educate her adopters on proper diet and nutrition. To apply to adopt Sunny, she has a $550.00 adoption fee. All monies will be recycled to cover medical care and rescue more dogs. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.MISTY is known as a Pomchi. This is a designer breed very popular on the West Coast. She is a mix of a Golden Pomeranian and a Chihuahua. With a healthy diet and excellent care, the Pomchis can live a full 18 years.  " These adorable pups make excellent apartment dogs for active urban dwellers, and they also do well in small and single-person households. If you’re looking for a small, attention-loving dog with a lot of spunk, then the Pomchi may be the right dog for you!" UPDATE: Misty has been decompressing in a foster home. She loves having other dogs to play with. While Misty would do "OK" as an only dog, she is very social and playful and will thrive if she has 1-2 other friendly and playful dogs to share her life with.  (See video of Misty and Cici playing) How Can You Meet Misty? Hooooowdy. My name is BENN (Ben) and here's a tad about me:Breed: Pomeranian/Spitz mixAge: 4 monthsGender: maleHeight: 15 cmWeight: 2.5 kgHighlights: playful, smart, mischievious, energetic Hello everybody, cheeeeese... aren’t I just a cutie? Well, that’s what I hear people say about me and my smile.I was bought by a young man who intended to give me to his girlfriend. I must say, she would have been ecstatic to receive me as a gift. But unfortunately, I got parvo and he abandoned me at the clinic as a puppy. Needless to say, my life was turned upside down. Thankfully, my rescuer found out about me at the clinic and paid for all the expenses related to my treatment. I am completely healthy now. Thanks to her!I am currently living in a foster home. I have a foster mom and a foster kitten brother, Phishi (also posted.) My foster mom rescued a kitten that had some issues with the muscles in his legs and can’t walk well. We are very good friends! I love to play with my kitten brother, we are quite bonded: https://youtu.be/Lg6JjMA5KBs. So much so, that we'd love to be adopted together. Loved at Last said we can be a twofer. Adopt me and kitty comes along for the ride. How's that for a deal?I am extremely playful and mischievous, but also very smart. I learn everything extremely fast. Because I am so playful, I am constantly looking for toys and playmates, so I’m always chasing my kitten brother up and down the sofas, and he plays hide and go seek with me. Well, either that, or he’s running away from me HAH! We have lots of fun together!I would love to continue my shenanigans in Canada with you! I would make a great addition to any family. I love other dogs and cats, so a fellow brother or sister would be great to have. I hope to meet you very soon! Please help me learn where to go in my new home. Health notes: I had parvo when first found. No issues after treatment.I am too young yet to be spayed/neutered, but I am vaccinated and microchipped.Spay/neuter will be the responsibility of the adopter and is required for my adoption to be finalized. My adoption fee is 850.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a fight volunteer directly to Vancouver. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or  Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. [MID-EAST] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East. [TURKEY] *Dogs receive 4D SNAP tests - which include: Heartworm, Ehrlichiosis, Leishmania and Anaplasmosis. ##1971714##

Story
Hi there! My name is Marigold, and I have quite the story to tell.   Breed: Pomeranian Spitz mix Age: 10 yearsGender: Male    Weight: 13 lb  Height: 13 inchHighlight(s): Affectionate, good with other dogs, no escape tendency I've been through a lot in my life, but I'm still full of love and hope for a new beginning. Despite being abandoned multiple times, my friendly and cuddly nature has not been affected. I may have had a rough start, but I believe there's a loving home out there waiting just for me. When it comes to humans, I'm a social butterfly. I adore attention and affection, and I have a soft spot for kids. I've even made friends with 8-10-year-old neighbors. However, I'm not a fan of vet visits – who is, right? Living with 7 other dogs has taught me to be polite and tolerant, but I prefer human companionship. I enjoy a leisurely walk and a game of ball, but I'm more of a people-person than a dog-person. When I see a cat, I get curious, but I'm easily redirected. I have a moderate energy level, so I'm up for outdoor adventures and cozy indoor cuddles. I walk well on a leash, although I may pull a bit out of excitement. I'm confident and brave on the streets, and I don't shy away from new experiences. I'm a good boy with no aggression issues or separation anxiety. I may bark for attention or to play, but I'm all tail wags and friendly vibes. I'm housetrained and don't get carsick. I'm currently working on my crate whining, but I'm a quick learner. All I need now is a loving family who will cherish me forever. Could that be you? If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion, I'm here waiting for you. Let's make happy memories together and create a forever home where I can truly belong. Adopt me, Marigold, and let's start our beautiful journey together! Energy Level: Moderate energy level. Enjoy outdoor activities and likes to rest/calm at home after walks. I get along with:Dogs: yesCats: yes Kids: yes (no video proof) Fears: Unknown/none observed. Please be patient assisting me in my transition.Leash skills: yes. Please be prepared to continue training.House trained: Yes. Please be prepared to help me learn where to go in my new home. Health notes: I have been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. According to the blood test done on Mar 15th, 2024, all my organs are quite healthy for my age. My adoption fee is $750.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver.
