Story
Chi Chi is a 3 year old pure bred Pomsky with a wonderful temperament and solid training. She was born January 2023 and we brought her home from a puppy store in Las Vegas in March 2023. She is fully house broken, loves cats / other pets and is well trained including sit, stay, down, spin, jump, fetch, leave-it, etc. She is affectionate, smart, playful and does well with structure and routine. This has been an extremely difficult decision. My fiance has developed a severe dog allergy and we recently moved to a home in Whittier where separation is not realistic. Combined with extended travel out of the country for large parts of the year we feel it is no longer fair to Chi Chi to keep her. We are looking for a loving and responsible home where she can get the attention and stability she deserves. Adoption fee will apply to ensure a good fit. Vet and pedigree records available and we are happy to do meet and greets.

I'm a Husky! Yes I HOWL very very loudly because I'm a HUSKY! I need exercise exercise exercise! Yes I'm pretty but no couch potatoes please. My eyes are sensitive to the sun. My coat is made for cold weather so I don't like being out in the heat. I'm not a yard ornament so I don't like being left outdoors alone. I'm very social and like being around more members of my species. I'm extremely intelligent and need stimulation. I like a daily routine. I have a natural prey drive. No small pets I like my food bowl and will allow you to have it only if you are filling it with food. I steal the food bowls of the other dogs here at the rescue and hoard them. A tender-hearted two-and-a-half-year-old Siberian Husky/German Shepherd mix currently living in Carlsbad, CA, whose gentle soul and snowy-white coat flecked with blue and fawn brindle patches make him unforgettable from the moment you meet him. Mendi is a soft-spoken adventurer—a little shy at first, but once he warms up, prepare for a tidal wave of cuddles, loyalty, and love! This 90-pound sweetheart is the ultimate cuddle connoisseur. He’ll nudge your hand for hugs, rest his head in your lap like it’s the safest place in the world, and follow you from room to room just to stay close. If companionship is what you seek, Mendi’s your guy! Outdoors, Mendi truly comes alive. He adores long walks—especially uphill hikes or mountain trails where he can leap and explore with the joy of a four-legged explorer on a mission. His shepherd-husky mix gives him a natural athleticism and drive, and he’s happiest when moving by your side. While he’s still working on leash manners (he sometimes pulls with excitement), he’s eager to please and responds well to connection and positive reinforcement. Mendi is house-trained, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He hasn’t had formal training, but he already knows “sit” and “stay,” and he’s ready to learn more with a patient and kind caregiver. He’s nervous around new dogs at first, but once introduced gently, he becomes playful and friendly. He’s even done well with a small Pomeranian and a six-year-old child, showing his sweet, adaptable nature. Though we’re not sure how he is with cats, Mendi shines in a home where someone is around often—whether two-legged or four—since being alone too long can make him anxious. With his shy affection, mountain goat energy, and goofy charm, Mendi is the kind of pup who’ll steal your heart when you least expect it. Luna just loves having dog friends around. Luna's original owner re-homed her to a house where she was left outside by herself to stew in her boredom. Luna decided she didn't love being there so she would run away for days until she was found. after several times of running away she was surrendered to Rock N Pawz rescue. Luna quickly bonded with some of the other dogs and just loves having playmates. She loves talking and getting you to play with her. She's extremely intelligent and picks things up quickly.
