📌 Important Adoption Information All of our dogs are currently living in private shelters or foster homes in South Korea. Once an adoption is approved, dogs will travel to the United States through legal and approved international transport procedures. Video calls are available prior to adoption, and adopters can communicate with our rescue team in real time through our official organization and app-based messaging channels throughout the process. 🩷 Rescue Story Kobi was rescued from the euthanasia list at Jeongeup Shelter. After receiving proper medical care, including successful heartworm treatment, he moved into a foster home, where he has been adjusting well and showing his bright, cheerful personality. 🌿 Temperament & Behavior Kobi gets along extremely well with other dogs. He is playful, curious, and loves running and playing with his dog friends, making him a great fit for a multi-dog household. He is friendly with both adults and children and enjoys human company. His compatibility with cats has not been tested. 🚶 Walking & Daily Life Kobi is always excited and happy when going on walks and generally walks well on leash. His shedding level is moderate to slightly high due to his double coat, around 6 out of 10. He has no known food allergies. Recently, treats have been limited, and he eats better when a small amount of canned food is mixed with his kibble to help with healthy weight gain. 🏡 Habits & Training Kobi uses indoor pee pads consistently. He initially showed some marking behavior, but after a short period of wearing diapers, there have been no further marking accidents indoors. He is currently being encouraged to prioritize outdoor potty breaks, with walks twice daily. Morning walks are short (about 20 minutes) for quick potty breaks before work, while evening walks last over an hour at an open field where he completes all bathroom needs. He tolerates baths and brushing well. He may wiggle when his paws are handled, but ultimately cooperates. He has no separation anxiety. After his foster leaves for work, Kobi plays with his toys for a while, naps, and waits calmly. He does not bark and rides very well in the car with no motion sickness. 💛 Likes & Personality Kobi loves treats, toys, and especially playing with other dogs. Even when treats are involved, he is highly people-oriented and happily follows from one person to another to stay close. He has no strong dislikes and is generally an easygoing companion. He is currently living in a foster home. ✨ Personality (Three Words): Cute, playful, cheerful. 🐶 Recommended Traits (5): Playful · Affectionate · Enthusiastic · Social · Goofy 💙 Adoption Fee Information The adoption fee already includes all major expenses, such as: *International transportation *Customs and export documentation *Medical care (spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, health certificate, deworming, etc.) For this reason, we kindly ask that you refrain from requesting a breakdown or negotiation of the adoption fee. Once an adoption is approved, dogs will travel to the United States through legal and approved international transport procedures. Video calls are available prior to adoption, and adopters can communicate with our rescue team in real time through our official organization and app-based messaging channels throughout the process. • Rescue Story: Meet Koko with two charming blue eyes👋 Turning 5 months old, Koko was discovered in March 2023, trembling in front of the shelter in Korea. His previous owner had left him there with a message saying that he could no longer care for him due to personal reasons. The poor pup had been abandoned without a collar or leash. Despite his fear, Koko did not run away and remained on the spot, waiting for help. Ever since then, he’s been living in a boarding house, patiently waiting for his forever home! • Personality: Friendly, Energetic, Happy Initially, Koko was very nervous and frightened during his first days at the boarding house. However, he quickly warmed up to the staff and other dogs and is now a very happy and playful boy. Koko loves spending time with his humans, especially sitting outside on the grass and basking in the sun. His energy level is high. He would be a great fit for a family who enjoys outdoor activities and can spend ample time with him. • Affinity with - Dogs: He enjoys playing with other dogs. No aggression toward others. - Cats: Not tested - Adults/Kids: Good with adults / Older teens would be more suitable for his energy. • Walking Manners: Not much experienced - in training • Housetrained: Koko will need some time and guidance with house training as he adjusts to a new environment. • Bathing/Brushing: Tolerates them just fine • Car Sickness: Not tested • Separation Anxiety: None. • Barks/Howls: A little bit when he greets people • Appetite/Food Allergies: No allergies. • Shedding level (1~10): 7-8 • Likes/Dislikes: Koko loves running around and playing with his people and friends! • Health: A healthy boy! 💙 Adoption Fee Information The adoption fee already includes all major expenses, such as: International transportation, Customs and export documentation, Medical care (spay surgery, vaccinations, health certificate, deworming, etc.) For this reason, we kindly ask that you refrain from requesting a breakdown or negotiation of the adoption fee. ✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to LAX💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. Meet Ruki🌟 💙 Ruki’s Foster Account: @rookie_adogs 1.) Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped and dental scaling complete. 2.) Rescue Story * Ruki was rescued from a hoarder’s home in Gimje, and had been transferred to the Gimje City Shelter. Ruki already had a skin condition and wasn’t able to get proper treatment at the shelter, so Adogs rescued him before it became worse. 3.) Basic Information * With People: Is shy with new people and isn’t comfortable with human touch yet so he must be cornered before he can be petted. However, he accepts it nicely once you actually touch him although he still needs more time to become comfortable with it since he’s timid. Lives and moves around comfortably around familiar people. * With Dogs: Got along with no issues with other dogs when he lived at the Adogs Center. Hasn’t met new friends yet after moving to his foster home. * With Cats: Hasn’t met cats yet. * Separation Anxiety: Stays alone well. * Potty Training: Was previously excellent with pottying indoors using potty pads, but has started having accidents on cushions after a visit to the vet. Is being slowly retrained. * Grooming: Does well with baths. * Walks: Hasn’t had experience with walks yet. * Car Sickness: Has a little bit of car sickness so care is needed. * Biting: Is a kind dog that’s never bitten. * Barking: Doesn’t bark for no reason. * Likes: Likes treats and these are helpful for getting closer to him. * Dislikes: Is scared of loud noises and becomes afraid if you move your hands downwards suddenly. Whines and expresses discomfort if you try to hold him. May have potty accidents if you set him down on the floor in areas with many people or at the vet, but if you hold him with his bottom well supported, he feels safer.
