Apply to Adopt Me! Meet Wynter, a sweet 1 year old, 30lb husky mix.  This gorgeous blue eyed girl came to us from Georgia, where she was found at a job site.  Wynter is very loyal and loves to cuddle close to (or on top of) her people at night. She will follow you from room to room and look you in the eyes as if to say, “what are we doing next?”. This girl is always down for an adventure.  Her favorite pastimes are zooming in the yard with her dog buddies and chewing/squeaking toys. She LOVES to play and go on hikes.   Wynter has had several professional obedience sessions and really enjoys training. Her trainer says she is “wicked smart” and fun to work with. This studious girl learns very quickly and already knows several commands and walks on a loose leash. Mental stimulation is as important as physical exercise for her.  Wynter sleeps quietly through the night while crated, is house trained, and rides wonderfully in the car. She’s great with baths as well.  Her ideal home would be active and have a fenced in yard. Wynter would thrive with an adopter that is committed to continuing her training, providing interactive toys, and engaging in daily exercise.  She’s not a dog that will be happy being left at home alone for long hours.  Other dogs in her home would need to be active or tolerant of a young, playful pup. Wynter is also cat friendly!   June 5, 2026, 11:39 am

Story
My name is Handsome. Yes, that’s really my name… and once you meet me, you’ll agree it fits perfectly. I’m two years old, about 45 pounds, with a stunning black-and-white coat and the brightest blue eyes you’ve ever seen. My face has those classic Husky markings that make people stop and stare — bold, striking, unforgettable. And just when you think that’s impressive enough, the sunlight hits my coat and you’ll notice a beautiful red tint woven through my fur. I like to keep things interesting. I may look like I’ve got it all figured out, but I’m still a young guy learning the basics. I’m working on commands like sit, improving my crate training (sometimes I cry at first — I just really love being near my people), and continuing to master potty training. I’m smart and eager to please. With patience and consistency, I’ll thrive. I love a good chew bone. I love playing with my foster brothers — I lead with my front paws, get vocal, and flash my teeth in true Husky fashion, but it’s all drama and zero aggression. I walk well on a leash, though I have yet to meet a squirrel I can ignore… so cats probably aren’t my best match. And when playtime is over? I’m all about the snuggles. I lean into my humans like I’ve always belonged there. I’m young. I’m affectionate. I’m full of personality. With your love, structure, and maybe some formal training, I won’t just be a good dog — I’ll be your best friend. I’m Handsome. And I’m ready to live up to my name in your home.

Story
Hi, I’m Jeffrey! I'm a 9-year-old playful & loving Siberian Husky. I have a beautiful cinnamon coat and the coolest eyes you’ll ever see — one of them is half blue and half amber! I’m housebroken and crate trained, and I actually love my crate. It’s my safe space where I go to relax and unwind. I absolutely love walks and going for runs. I might pull a little at first because I get so excited, but once I settle down, I walk like a very good boy. I’d be happiest with a family that enjoys adventures because I also love car rides and going anywhere my people go. I’m great with other dogs! I love to play and zoom around the backyard with my foster brother Theo. I’m especially obsessed with my ball — I’ll even play with it all by myself. I was a little too friendly at first (oops), but that didn’t last long. I love getting pets from kids we meet on walks. I’m not sure how I feel about cats, but since I do like chasing squirrels, a home without cats might be best for me. I’m playful, I love to sing (and I’m not shy about it!), and I have a pretty great husky voice. If I want a walk or a snack, you’ll definitely know. I’m also smart and curious. I know my commands — sit, lay down, shake, and out — and I catch on quickly. I do like to “inspect” cupboards, drawers, and even the trash can sometimes, but I’m not destructive… just curious! Sometimes in the evenings I get a little restless. When I start pacing, it usually means I’m looking for my comfy spot. My crate helps me feel calm and safe, and I fall asleep easily once I’m in there. More than anything, I am loving. My favorite place in the whole world is right next to my humans. I love couch snuggles, resting my head on your lap or chest, sitting by your feet while you work, and even gently plopping myself on you if you’re laying down. I just want to be close to you. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, affectionate boy who will go on adventures with you and then cuddle up at the end of the day… I’m your guy.

Story
Hi, I’m Karmy, a 7-year-old red and white beauty with the cutest floppy ear you’ve ever seen! Life didn’t start out easy for me, but wow, things are looking up. I’m learning all about being a “house dog,” and let me tell you, couches are amazing (especially for my silly couch zoomies). I’m making great progress with potty training (I’ve got my schedule down!) and crates aren’t so scary anymore—I even eat my meals in mine like a pro. I’ll admit, I’m still working on longer stays, but I’m very food motivated, so training feels like snack time to me. On walks, I’m a total dream—unless, of course, I catch the scent of a critter, then I get a little excited. My vision isn’t the best, so sometimes I bump into things or need a little guidance, but a kind voice and gentle hand help me shine. Personality-wise? I’m a calm, quiet girl who saves her energy for cuddles, massages, and belly rubs (the good stuff). I’m not a barker or a woo-wooer, but who knows—maybe once I’m fully settled, I’ll surprise you with a little Husky song. I’m still figuring out this whole “play with other dogs” thing and haven’t met kids yet, but I’m open to learning with the right introductions. The truth is, what I really want is to be close to my people. If you sit on the couch, don’t be surprised if I climb right into your lap—I’m basically a pro snuggler. I may have had a tough past, but today I’m full of love, hope, and sweetness. I’m ready to find my forever family—the one who will see past my challenges and see the amazing heart I have to give.

Story
Hi there! I’m Pickles. I’m a 5-month-old Husky/Australian Shepherd mix, and let me tell you—I’ve grown into the perfect mix of fluff, fun, and a little bit of mischief! I’ve got those bright, curious eyes and a playful spirit that keeps everyone smiling. I LOVE to explore, play with toys, and soak up all the cuddles I can get. I’m super smart (hello, Husky/Aussie brain!), which means I’m already learning and would thrive with someone who can keep me mentally and physically active. I’m the kind of pup who will be your adventure buddy by day and your snuggle bug by night. I’m still a puppy, so I’ll need patience, training, and lots of love—but I promise I’m 100% worth it. If you’re ready for zoomies, laughter, and unconditional love, I might just be your perfect match! Before applying, please be sure to review the puppy adoption requirements listed on our website: www.huskyhavenfl.org/adopt Adoption fee includes: Vaccines and boosters Microchip Fecal test Neuter surgery Leash, collar, and Husky Haven of Florida (HHOFL) tag There is an application fee for puppies to help ensure applicants carefully read all requirements.
