🐾 Meet Shadow — A Sweet, Spirited Pomsky with a Big Personality! 💙
Shadow is a handsome 4-year-old Pomeranian/Husky mix (Pomsky) weighing approximately 35 pounds. He's affectionate, intelligent, playful, and absolutely bursting with personality!
This sweet boy has spent most of his life in a home, and now he's looking for a family ready to give him the love, attention, and adventures he deserves. ❤️
💕 A Lovebug with Lots of Energy
Shadow absolutely adores his people! He's a loving, loyal companion who enjoys being close to his favorite humans and being involved in whatever they're doing.
He's also a smart cookie who already knows several commands, including sit and lie down, and he's working on mastering stay.
Shadow has plenty of energy and enthusiasm, so he'll thrive with an active family that can provide regular exercise, playtime, mental enrichment, and continued training. He's a fun-loving guy who will keep you entertained!
🐶 Friends & Family
Shadow enjoys other dogs and is reportedly friendly when meeting them, although his excitement can sometimes get the best of him. He'll benefit from thoughtful introductions and canine friends who appreciate his playful energy.
He's also sweet with children, but because he can jump when excited, a home with older kids who are comfortable around enthusiastic dogs may be the best fit.
As for cats, Shadow enjoys chasing them in an attempt to play. Because that behavior can be stressful for feline friends, any potential cat introductions would need careful consideration and management.
🏡 Helping Shadow Settle In
Shadow is very attached to his people and can struggle when left alone. His previous family reported that he sometimes chewed or damaged household items and had indoor accidents during their absence, although other times he relaxed and slept.
He isn't currently crate trained, so he'll need a patient family willing to help him build a consistent routine, develop confidence during alone time, and learn appropriate household habits.
With positive reinforcement, enrichment, and a little patience, this clever boy has plenty of potential!
