Zoey is 7 but acts like a puppy. She is very playful, energetic, gentle and loving. Zoey loves kids and is protective over them. She is afraid of thunderstorms and likes to hide underneath beds when scared. She loves playing with toys and balls. She has lived with other pets and does well with them. She is crate trained and sleeps in a crate.

Story
Max, a 5-year-old husky, is available through City of Raytown Animal Services. They say he is the most amazing husky they've ever met! No, really, he's pretty darned awesome-- Max is playful, but so calm. He comes when you call him and is happy to lounge in the sun or the snow. He knows commands like sit, stay, and down. He's housebroken, walks very well on a leash, and likes kids and other dogs. (Max is not a fan of cats, though. No one is perfect, right?) He loves his big goofy brother Koda, and they play very well together. We would love for them to go home together, but we know that might not be possible, and it isn't necessary. The boys will be happy in separate homes, too. Call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 if you'd like to meet Max. He's in the Kansas City metro, but transport might be available to the right home.
