Story
Lalah (pronounced Layla) is SO sweet. We rescued her off of the streets. Someone saw her get kicked out of a car on a busy road a few years ago and we took her in. She is about 5 and a high energy dog with a lot of husky instincts. Unfortunately, it became very apparent to us that she was severely abused and that abuse has resulted in fear-based agression when situations are unpredictable. While we love her so much, we recently had a baby boy, and his sudden movements, loudness, and rambunctious play seem to unnerve her and it doesn't seem she differentiates children from adults in terms of gentleness. She needs more exercise and dedicated time than we are able to provide. It appears she needs to be in an environment likely without children, and where she can get the stimultation and attention she needs. We have: a doggie bed, blanket, crate that looks like furniture, toys, bowls, leash, and so much more to provide with her. She has also been through a 2 week training program

Zeke is our beautiful 6-year-old Pomsky who we have raised since he was a puppy. Finding him a new home is a very difficult family decision, but with two children under age three and a heavy work travel schedule, we are finding it hard to give Zeke the love and attention he truly deserves. Zeke is: • 6 years old and has been with us since he was a pup• A truly good dog who loves attention• Accustomed to living with young children • Good with other dogs• House trained We are looking for a proper home with an owner who has the time to meet his needs and provide the love he deserves. Misty is a sweet,funny,interesting,playfull dog, she is 1 year old and 4 months. When we come home from somewhere, she is overly excited, super happy, and she have a very cuteee and funny growl if we don't pay enough attention to her 😅. She loves alot to have belly rubb, to play with her with the toys, especially a ball like soccer way. She loves to run, jump, loves to walk alooot, more like running then a walk 😁, to eat with us all the time, and sleep in bed with my girls.We want to find a new home for her because is to expensive for us, and she is shedding alot, and is hard with our schedule.Some problems that was with her before she had her period, was that she chewed some stuff when was alone, she is scared to go to the Grooming, and she growl bad only if we take some stuff from her mouth that she want's very bad,or at the Grooming,other then that there's no problem with growl or biting. She barks only on the people passing by the door.She is potty trained on a pad in the house.

These puppies were born in a barn were covered in fleas. Gave them capstar and flea powdered there beds then gave them a bath in baby shampoo. They were born on August 3, 2026 have had their first shot and have been wormed. 5 girls and 1 boy in the litter. For no socialization they are the happiest and most social puppies. Two have some hair missing but the rest are perfect. Working on potty training and crate training. Gwen is smaller and pomski looking. Georgia looks just like her mom. Mom was a small border 25-30 pounds. Pictured last. To meet them call/text 586-855-6119 and ask about Georgia & Gwen. $200 adoption fee.

Todd A18767863 lb. neutered male, approx 3 years old -This handsome boy is a big sweetheart who loves everyone he meets! He happily jumps up for hugs and kisses when passing people in the hallway, and he absolutely loves pets and being close to his people. He’s a bit of a lap dog and doesn’t seem to realize he’s a big boy!-Outside, he wandered around and explored before settling in. He’s actually pretty calm and seems to have a lower-energy personality, but he definitely has a playful side too. He enjoyed playing with both a stuffie and a tennis ball, although his play sessions were fairly brief before he decided to lay down with his ball.-He’s a good boy for treats, will “sit,” and takes them nicely. He even tries his best to catch them, although your aim needs to be pretty spot-on for him to make the catch! 😂 He also walks nicely on leash.-Overall, he’s a sweet, affectionate guy who enjoys a little playtime but is just as happy hanging out close to his person. This big boy is ready to find someone who won’t mind sharing their lap! -Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. He wants to be right where his person is, whether that means leaning in for pets, giving kisses, circling around you, or trying to climb into your arms for a hug. He is ALL about his people and isn’t shy about letting you know it.-He is very treat motivated and a smart boy who catches on quickly. We started working on “sit” and even just keeping all four paws on the floor, and by the end of our time together, he was offering a sit without even being asked! He clearly enjoys learning and wants to figure out what you’re asking of him.-He has that wonderful working-dog energy and enthusiasm, and I think he’ll thrive with someone who enjoys an active, engaged dog and can give him plenty of opportunities to use his brain and stay busy.-And underneath all that enthusiasm is a really sweet boy who just wants to be close to you.
