Bo is only seven months old, but this 32-pound Husky mix is already showing plenty of athletic potential - and he's still growing! He’s active, alert, and always ready to see what’s happening around him. He walks well on leash, enjoys attention, and handled his vet visit like a champ.
Bo was surrendered to the pound after his owners said they no longer wanted him. Despite that rough start, he’s done well around the other dogs and is showing what a good-natured young guy he can be.
He’s got the energy, coordination, and determination of a natural athlete - Bo knows how to bring his A-game. Now he just needs a team to cheer him on.

Currently this sweet baby is with our rescue, The Artemis Project, in Arkansas.
We DO, however, transport monthly to the metro Detroit area of MI. Because we’re able to transport, we ARE able to accept adoption applications directly from residents of MI.
Why do we transport? Because animal overpopulation is severe in our region, and stray and unwanted dogs have very little chance of finding a home here. These babies are, however, at a high risk of being neglected, abused, abandoned, euthanized or even shot (it’s “the way things are done” for some people down here). YOU are truly one of the only safe and happy endings for the lucky ones we are able to rescue.
Upon approval of your adoption application, we will then transport your new furbaby to you in the metro Detroit area for just a small travel expense fee of $50 in addition to the adoption fee.

Before we can change your new furbaby’s status from "adoptable" to "adoption pending," the $50 transport fee must be paid to secure the adoption. At that time, we will stop accepting applications.
The entire adoption fee must be paid prior to the transport in order to ensure your new baby has a spot on the transport.
