Story
Hello, darling. Sakari likes to think of herself as a sophisticated lady... right up until she finds something interesting to steal off the counter.Sakari meets new people easily, and you`ll quickly discover she is an affectionate, silly husky girl! She`s all about companionship, adventures, and finding creative ways to make you laugh. Sakari has a medium-to-high energy lifestyle and absolutely adores getting out for walks, exploring the world, and taking in all the sights and smells. Life is simply more fun when there`s somewhere to go and someone to go with.In fact, Sakari is our go-to dog to take to shelter events and meet-and-greets because she does so well out in crowded public areas full of dogs and people. Sakari enjoys the company of other dogs and can happily share space with them on walks or during playtime. However, when it comes to living arrangements, she prefers to be the only four-legged resident. She takes certain treasures very seriously and will need an adopter who understands that some things are hers and who is committed to continuing positive training to help her make good choices surrounding resource guarding. Sakari has a history of being protective over special items, so she needs a home with adults or older teens who can respect her boundaries and help set her up for success. She`s also clever. Perhaps a little too clever. If food is left unattended, Sakari may consider it a gift. If a door has a handle, she may consider it a puzzle. Keeping one step ahead of her is all part of the Sakari experience.Underneath her mischievous streak is a truly loving dog who wants nothing more than to be cherished by her people. She`s sweet, loyal, full of personality, and ready to bring plenty of laughter, adventure, and husky commentary into the right home. For anyone looking for a beautiful girl with a big heart, a sharp mind, and just enough sass to keep life interesting, Sakari might be the perfect match.

Meet Search Warrant SEARCH WARRANT is ready to serve! His specialty? Searching for food, locating squeaky balls, and stealing hearts wherever he goes. This handsome little officer is eager to please, highly food motivated, and always on the job. He already knows sit, wait, drop it, down, and shake a paw—so clearly, he’s well on his way to becoming a highly trained member of the K9 unit! His current assignments include:Searching for contraband snacks (also known as literally any food within a 50-foot radius)Locating and securing his favourite squeaky ballServing warrants for belly rubs and attentionPatrolling the house for suspicious activityConducting thorough investigations into missing treatsSearch Warrant has had a bit of a rough start, but this little guy is one tough cookie. He tested positive for parvovirus, but thankfully had very few symptoms and did remarkably well throughout his recovery. He has now tested negative for parvo and is doing wonderfully!Like any rookie officer, he’s still working on a few things. He’s currently in training for crate duty, learning that jumping on people is not an approved police tactic, and working on managing his regular puppy excitement. His house training is coming along wonderfully, and he’s proving to be a very quick learner. And when he’s off duty? You’ll find him searching for food, enjoying a game with his favourite squeaky ball, playing with cats and gently taking treats from children. Priorities.Search Warrant would love a forever home that will continue his training, keep his brain busy, reward his good work, and give him all the love and adventures a growing puppy deserves. His record is clean, his warrant is valid, and his heart is up for grabs.Search Warrant is officially looking for his forever home. Apply now before he serves YOU a warrant for excessive cuddles!

Story
Every enchanted forest has a Fae, and ours happens to have four paws, a very expressive voice, and a heart that is still learning that the world can be a kind place.Fae arrived at the shelter as a stray, so the first chapters of her story are unknown. What we do know is that she is a gentle, shy girl who takes a little time to trust new people. When she is uncertain, she may bark, back away, fidget, or keep her body low, but beneath her nerves is a very sweet dog who wants to connect. Once she feels comfortable, Fae will lean into people for affection and happily return for more attention. She knows her basic magic spells too: sit, down, and paw.Fae is fairly calm for her size and has medium energy. She could live in an apartment, although her future companions should be prepared for some enthusiastic “talking,” courtesy of her husky side. She is much more comfortable indoors than she is out in the world right now. On leash, she pulls consistently and can be a little all over the place, sometimes trying to get into parked cars or head back inside. She should therefore be considered a flight risk and will need secure, thoughtful handling and plenty of patience as she gains confidence outdoors.Fae is not particularly interested in treats, food, or toys at the moment, although that may change once she is settled somewhere she feels safe. What truly captures her attention is kindness and companionship. She has been tolerant of handling, including having her paws held and being examined, and she has shown herself to be remarkably gentle despite some nervous fidgeting. When it comes to other creatures, Fae has met a calm male dog and was polite and tolerant, though understandably a little unsure. She would likely do best with a calm, respectful canine companion who understands that friendships take time. Her history with cats and children is unknown, so introductions would need to be handled carefully and thoughtfully.Fae’s story is still being written, and she is looking for someone willing to turn the page slowly. Her adopters should be patient people who can read her body language, give her space when she asks for it, and let her choose when she is ready to approach. No rushing, no forcing—just time, trust, and plenty of gentle encouragement.Give Fae a safe castle to call home, and perhaps, once she knows she is truly safe, she will show you the magic she has been keeping tucked away.
