Story
Benny is a 5 year old Husky who is ready for a second chance at being part of a family. He was brought to KC Pet Project when his family was moving and housing restrictions wouldn`t allow this big hunk to go with them. We`ve learned a few things about him from the former owners. Benny lived outside mostly, but they report that his is potty trained. He has lived with kids as young as 2 and a female husky who was the same age as Benny. He knows the commands Sit, Down, and Shake. Benny loves playing tug and chase. He`s in the prime of life and can`t wait for a family that makes him a part of their world. At the shelter Benny has been tolerant of other dogs in play groups. KC Pet Project has already provided his neuter, microchip and current vaccinations. Now all he needs is a home!

He knows it’s time to go as soon as he’s taken outside and proudly earns treats for his good behavior. Scrap is curious, fun-loving, and always ready to play, but when it’s time to slow down, he’s just as happy curled up in your lap. Scrap thrives on being close to his people and loves snuggles just as much as playtime. He’s the kind of puppy who will follow you from room to room, making sure he doesn’t miss a thing. With consistency and love, Scrap is going to grow into an amazing companion. Scrap's adoption fee is $275 and includes age appropriate vaccinations, dewormer, heartworm medication, microchip and spay/neuter surgery. Fill out an adoption application at lucky13rescue.org.

Story
Meet Balto, otherwise known as Little B by his foster family. Balto is a cool, relaxed, and gentle little guy with the sweetest face, sometimes it even looks like he’s smiling at you. He loves staying close to his sister and is usually the one to initiate playtime with her. He also tries hard to play with his foster sister, an adult lab. He shows his affection quietly by gazing up at you with loving eyes, and he is a major cuddler. He’s patient and kind with young kids. Balto is doing great with puppy pad training. He uses the pads much more often than not, and he goes into his kennel without a fight. Sweet natured Balto is ready to join his forever family! Balto's adoption fee is $275 and includes age appropriate vaccinations, dewormer, heartworm medication, microchip and spay/neuter surgery. Fill out an adoption application at lucky13rescue.org.
