Story
Aurora is fostered in St Catharines Ontario. *All adoptions with Rebel Dog Rescue have a 15 day probation period. Read about our adoption process on our website. Aurora is a striking young Klee Kai mix with a captivating appearance and an equally engaging personality. Approximately two years old, she resembles a miniature husky, complete with expressive eyes - one blue and one partially blue and brown. Beyond her beauty, Aurora is intelligent, loyal, and full of life She has a joyful, playful nature and delights in toys, often engaging with them in a spirited, puppy-like way. At the same time, she is affectionate with her people, seeking out closeness, offering hugs, and snuggling whenever possible. She forms strong bonds and takes great comfort in being near her person. While she may be initially shy with new people, Aurora warms up quickly and becomes very loving. She enjoys car rides, handles veterinary visits well, and is known to charm everyone she meets. She is happiest in a home environment that offers routine, engagement, and the companionship of people. With the right match, Aurora will be a devoted, lively, and affectionate companion who brings warmth and happiness into the home.Name: AuroraBreed: Pomeranian/Klee Kai mix Age: ~2 yearsWeight: ~25lb Sex: Female, spayed Colour: White/brownMedical: No concerns Good with men: Yes, but shy Good with women: Yes, but shy and warms up quicklyGood with kids 0-6: Yes, but has not lived long-term with small children/ dog savvy kids Good with kids 7-15: Yes, fostered with kidsWhen meeting new people, she may be slightly reserved at first but warms up quickly, approaching with happy tail wags once comfortable.Good with dogs: Will do best as the only dog in the home. she thrives as the center of attention. She can feel overwhelmed in multi-dog settings and benefits from slow, structured introductions from afar.
