Current Location: Korea 🇰🇷 🐾✨ Meet JISU — A Gentle & Sweet Pom Mix Girl Looking for Her Forever Family ✨🐾 🌸 A soft soul who just wants to belong. 🌸 📌 Basic Info 🐶 Name: Jisu (JISU) 🎀 Age: 3 years old 👧 Gender: Female ⚖️ Weight: 4.9 kg 🐾 Breed: Pomeranian Mix 💉 Vaccinations / Spay-Neuter: Completed 💛 Personality & Charm Jisu is shy at first, but she really wants to be close to people. She quietly stays nearby, observes, trusts slowly… and then one day, she melts into your arms and holds on tight. 🥹💞 Calm, gentle, and loving — the perfect companion for a peaceful home. 👨‍👩‍👧 With Adults & Kids 🧑 Adults: Takes time to warm up, but becomes affectionate and loyal once she trusts you 🧒 Kids: Calm and gentle, okay with being next to them or being touched ⚠️ If kids run or shout loudly, she chooses to observe from a distance 🐶 With Other Animals 🐕 Dogs: Excellent! — polite greetings and sometimes playful with her favorite friends 🐱 Cats: Good! — sniffs and ignores 🦜 Lives peacefully with a parrot in her foster home 🚽 House-training ✨ 100% reliable! ✔ Outdoor potty ✔ Indoor pee pads ✔ Balcony turf ➡️ Very easy and stress-free 🔋 Energy Level ⚡ Low ~ Medium 🏡 Quiet and peaceful at home 🐕 At the park, lightly plays with familiar friends or just jogs along with the group 🗣 Separation Anxiety / Barking / Aggression 💛 Separation anxiety: ❌ 🔔 Barking: ❌ (very minimal) 💥 Aggression: ❌ If scared, she may growl or bark once/twice to say “I’m uncomfortable” — never attacks. 🚶‍♀️ Walks & Car Rides 🌳 Loves walking 🪑 If you sit on a bench, she sits right beside you for comfort 🥹 🚗 Excellent in the car — even waits politely before getting in 🏃 Escape Tendency Because she can get startled, double safety (double leash + secure harness) is recommended. In familiar places, even if the leash slips, she stays close and doesn’t run far. ➡️ Once bonded, she wants to stay within her person’s sight ❤️ 🐾 Rescue Story Jisu lived one year at Gokseong Shelter with her sister Subin. On the day they were scheduled for euthanasia, both were rescued together. She was pregnant at the time and later gave birth to three puppies (she is 💗 Pony’s mom). Now, after everything she has survived… it’s finally her turn to be loved. 📍 Jisu is ready for her forever home. She doesn’t need much — just patience, kindness, and a safe heart to land in. 🤍 If you think she may be the missing piece of your family…♡

Story
Meet Aru   Name: Aru Age: 3 months Sex: Female Spayed: No (too young) Breed: Husky × Jindo mix Color: Black & White Weight: 4.9 kg Height: 30 cm (shoulder)   Rescue Story   Aru was born as one of six puppies to a Husky-mix mother who was living as a yard dog in Korea. She has now been safely moved into foster care, where she is receiving her vaccinations and getting ready for her forever home   With People   Aru is very affectionate and friendly. She happily approaches both familiar and unfamiliar people, rubs against them, and enjoys being petted. She loves both men and women and is especially great with children under 13. She enjoys being picked up and carried, and often rolls over to show her belly when she’s playing.   With Other Dogs   Aru is very social and loves other dogs of all sizes. She eagerly approaches both familiar and unfamiliar dogs to say hello and invite them to play. Sometimes she can be a little too enthusiastic and doesn’t always realize when another dog needs space, especially with bigger dogs — she is currently living with a large dog and is so fearless that she sometimes gets corrected for being too bold. Overall, she loves dogs and plays well with them.   With Cats   She has not been officially tested with cats yet, but because she is playful and curious, she could do well with a cat who is comfortable with dogs.   Energy Level   Aru has a moderate energy level. She enjoys outdoor activities, but after playtime or walks, she settles nicely and rests calmly.   Leash & Walking   She has just started leash training and is still learning. Right now, she tends to pull and go in the direction she wants, so she will need continued practice and guidance.   At Home   When Aru first arrived, she cried for about a week while adjusting to her new environment, but she is now settled and no longer cries. She may bark when she gets over-excited while playing with other dogs or when she doesn’t get what she wants right away.   She still whines a bit in her crate but eventually falls asleep. If she wakes up and wants to come out, she may cry again. When left alone, she usually just sleeps and can also entertain herself with toys.   She is currently doing both indoor pee-pad potty and outdoor potty training and has been left alone for up to 3–4 hours without issues.   What Makes Aru Special   Aru is a happy, playful, loving puppy who enjoys people, dogs, and life in general. She would do wonderfully in a home that can continue her training, give her regular outdoor time, and let her grow into the confident, joyful dog she’s meant to be Apply to adopt or foster: https://adoptmekr.org  Please also visit our Facebook or Instagram. Story
Meet Heukgom Heukgom is a gentle, sweet puppy with a soft heart and a thoughtful personality.   Basic Info • Age: 4 months • Sex: Male • Neutered: Not yet • Breed: Jindo Mix • Color: Black & White • Weight: 7.3 kg • Height: 38 cm (shoulder height)   Rescue Story Heukgom was born to a Husky-mix mother who lived as an outdoor yard dog. He is from the same litter as Choco, Aru, Cream (already adopted), Baekseol, and Heukgom—all siblings born together.   ‍‍ People Socialization Heukgom is very affectionate and friendly with both familiar and unfamiliar people. He especially loves men and approaches people happily for pets and cuddles. He does wonderfully with children under 13 and is comfortable being gently held. Even with people he has just met, he often shows his belly and relaxes easily.   Dog Socialization Heukgom greets and tries to play with both familiar and unfamiliar dogs. He is most comfortable with dogs his own size or smaller, while larger dogs can still feel intimidating for him—especially high-energy ones. When dogs are around without people, he may hide from larger dogs, but when a trusted person is nearby, he often gathers courage and tries again, sometimes hiding between legs for reassurance. He is a sensitive and thoughtful puppy who gains confidence with support.   Cats He has lived in the same home with a cat for about one month.   Energy Level Like most puppies, Heukgom enjoys energetic playtime and then settles down quickly when tired. He needs appropriate daily activity to help him rest well.   ‍ Walks Heukgom is still new to leash walks. He tends to pull toward directions he wants to explore and focuses more on sniffing than steady walking. Because walks are still unfamiliar, he may bark at passing sights—likely a mix of curiosity and nervousness. With experience and patience, this will improve.   Other Notes • No food guarding with people or dogs • Food-motivated and eager—still learning to wait politely • Whines briefly in a crate but settles down • Uses both indoor pee pads and outdoor potty • Not a fan of baths yet, but after brief resistance, he calms and tolerates them • Overall very gentle, mild-mannered personality   Heukgom would do best with a family that can offer patience, reassurance, and gentle guidance as he continues to grow in confidence. He is a truly sweet soul looking for a loving forever home Apply to adopt : https://adoptmekr.org  Please also visit our Facebook or Instagram.
