Meet Betty Boop! Betty Boop is a sweet 16-pound pug who has had a tough past, having been used for breeding. She came to us after being dumped on the streets with her two puppies in a box. Despite everything she’s endured, Betty’s heart remains full of love. She is incredibly affectionate and longs for nothing more than a safe place to call her own. Betty arrived underweight, but with proper care she is now healthy, happy, and thriving. She has been fully vetted, including BOAS surgery. Betty Boop is a true charmer and will make a wonderful companion or family dog. She gets along well with other dogs and has a gentle, loving personality that makes her easy to adore. She’s ready to leave her past behind and start a new chapter with a family who will give her the love she deserves.

ChuggaChugga is 2 years old and 17 pounds. He is looking for his forever home.I have lived with other dogs in the past. I may do well with a slow introduction.I don`t have a history of living with cats. I may do well with a slow introduction.I don`t have a history of living with children. Winston is a great dog. I adopted him from a breeder when he was 1.5 years old, she wanted to show him but said he was “too long.” He is good with kids and very gentle. Winston is good with other dogs. When we got Winston he wasn’t house broken but now he is great with using a doggy door. He sometimes will mark, so we use a belly band for him when we know we can’t watch him fully. When we only had him, we noticed that he never marked but as soon as we got another dog he started marking again and we went back to using the belly bands. We now have two small kids and work a lot, so don’t have time to play with him or walk him. We want him to go to a loving home where people can be more attentive to him and give him the love he deserves.

Meet Mary, (short for Marionberry), a 10 yo chi/pug/maybe corgi blend (best guess.) Mary’s the perfect companion for someone looking for a quiet and ever-abiding friend. We picked her up from the shelter a few weeks ago and she’s been nothing short of wonderful. She’s kennel/potty/leash trained, eats anything you place in front of her (currently on Evermore), & doesn’t have a whiff of separation anxiety, (she’ll happily nap while you are away.) She’s spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, & on pest prevention. She’s had lab work and is getting her dental this week. Overall, she’s in better shape than most of us. She likes her leisurely walks but there’s no denying that pep in her step. She's great with men/women, older kids. She'll need a home where she's the only pet as she can be a little spicy with others ( needs a little socialization.)

She has a charming personality and the perfect size for travel and cuddles. This sweet girl was brought to AFC as a stray with Frankie (also available to adopt) Frannie is an adorable girl and wants to be your constant companion. Her best placement is an adult or a family home with kind teenagers and another dog to give her the love and guidance she needs as she grows. She is a puppy and will need house training. She is being taken outside on a regular schedule. She will need leash training when she is fully vaccinated. She is an excellent travel size companion. She is easy to LOVE. Frannie is scheduled to be spayed but we are looking for her home now. She is micro-chipped and currently vaccinated. She’s ready to bring joy, companionship, and love into your life.
